Why doesn't NBC have any crowd noise other than the course reporters?

Was not impressed with NBCs coverage at all. From the camera work/production right on up.

It feels like he is about to become America's Colin Montgomerie.

ETA: That may not be fair to Montgomerie, I guess.

I literally gave it only a seconds thought, and it's probably a stupid thought. I was remembering, I think, that Montgomerie was considered a dick? Or do I have that wrong? I could have it wrong.

No, he was. I have a soft spot for Reed cause he's a Houstonian, but the consensus seems to be he's a dick.

Sleep easy because he was born in San Antonio and went to high school in Louisiana and college in Georgia.

Didn't he start somewhere else in college but transferred?

And Montgomerie seemed to court the bad guy (to Americans) thing, until it just really got out of control.

He started at Georgia, got accused of cheating, went to Augusta State and won the national title twice, beating UGA in team final once as well.

Lee Westwood rules himself out of the 2020 Euro Captain role leaving the path clear for Padraig Harrington.

They are going to have to increase the Ryder Cup from 3 days to a week now.
