Best comment I saw:
No other victims would meet with Trump so naturally he grabs one that’s too young to consent.

The Mooch was on Maher last night. Despite still calling the president a friend, he had to disagree with his division of things.

Looks like Fat Don just saw the episode:

Good read:

The Last Adult Is Leaving the Room

It's about how the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs General Joe Dunford's retirement next month is going to suck for the military at large because he was able to not only keep a low profile, but be stellar where it counted when it came to military engagement and dealing with Trump.

Fun fact: Dunford is from Boston and went to B.C. High.

Man, Chris Cuomo going nuts over being called Fredo and likening it to the N word is some grade A level stugots shit.

Not ginney, wop, dago, grease ball, or guido. Fredo. He deserves this shirt:

Don't worry guys, Trump said acting Presidential is "very easy," and he will start acting in a way that respects the office he holds very soon.

Fuck, how does he have the time to know about Cuomo spouting off to Tweet about it? OTOH, I'd rather have him focused on this shit than foreign policy or Tweeting about potentially classified weapons systems.

Loud as fuck, and they move shockingly slow. In HS or college I read a book where a guy shot down Marine One with a Stinger missile. Seeing Trump flying so low and slow, made me think of that book, and man, what an easy target.

He's also a fat fuck weighing it down.

At least that's what Andrew Yang would say.

After Trump, the bar for "immediate disqualification" is nowhere near "mean words."

Fuck that. Liberals acting haughty is why liberals lose in the first place.

You can vote for whomever you want. But the president of the United States -- regardless of party -- shouldn't be throwing around schoolyard taunts. Trump's weight is literally about the 10,000th most onerous thing about him -- it has nothing to do with his (or anyone's) capacity to serve as president. It's fucking stupid and Yang should know better.

Demean his intelligence if you want (it's critical to running the country), demean his demeanor, but his weight doesn't fucking matter.

Just because Trump does it doesn't make it right. Honestly, I'd rather leave the country forever than live in a country where that kind of shit becomes acceptable from our leaders.

After Trump, people like him in positions of power should be demeaned in every way imaginable. Weight, sex life, everything.

He's brought the general discourse to a garbage level and acting like we should be better is laughable. The idealist pomp and circumstance of statesman for politicians is a complete farce.

If he did nothing else wrong except tweet like a degenerate asshole I'd still feel this way. I can literally get in trouble for doing the shit he does but he has less accountability than a 1 year old.

Over it. I'm glad politicians are acting like regular people when it comes to calling out shit.

Meant to post this a couple days ago. It would appear that Trump really doesn't understand how tariffs work. I suppose his constant refrain that China is paying for the tariffs gets gaslighted into his followers' brains. But anybody who works at a company that imports products or components from China knows the truth.

I think it would put us solidly at #2 in terms of total size of the country. If it had somehow put us at #1 I would say that was definitely the reason.

Maybe he just wants something irrevocably, tangibly his to be there after he’s gone? The wall isn’t happening, and strife and turmoil he can’t really take credit for.

It caused a 10% increase in price to my kitchen cabinets literally a week after I was quoted the "final" price back this past November.

Since it hadn't been charged yet due to something else needing to be finalized, when my card was ready to be swiped I was told "The tariffs that were put in place are causing the change to your order. We have to increase the price. Sorry."

So I believe you. When someone is so disconnected from financial burdens, inconveniences like this have no impact. But that (along with a mismeasurement of my granite) delayed my backsplash until a couple weeks ago.

I know he's got the personality, integrity and credibility of an untrained weasel, but Anthony Scaramucci now claims/predicts that Trump will soon drop out of the 2020 presidential race.

I post this not because his thoughts are in any way newsworthy, but because of this humorous comment:
“He’s gonna drop out of the race because it’s gonna become very clear. Okay, it’ll be March of 2020. He’ll likely drop out by March of 2020. It’s gonna become very clear that it’s impossible for him to win,” he said in an interview with Vanity Fair.

“He’s got the self-worth in terms of his self-esteem of a small pigeon. It’s a very small pigeon. And so you think this guy’s gonna look at those poll numbers and say — he’s not gonna be able to handle that humiliation.

That makes no sense. Trump could have, should have lost in 2016. Would his ego have been able to handle that?

He wouldn't have run in the first place being the surprise of the Republican primary.

Agreed. If he loses in 2020 he’ll just blame it on minorities voting “illegally” and go on to make a ton of money from speaking events and selling garbage to his far-right base.

It really doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. I see him going the other way if it looks like he’s gonna lose. Suspend elections and force removal by Congress or the 25th amendment.

The initial NYT headline on it said that Trump canceled the visit over Greenland "spat" as if demanding that another country cede territory to the US is normal and what not. The NYT is a shithole.
