Since Barry Sanders is black they're just gonna be pissed anyway. Garth should have worn a Stafford jersey.

I never really know what anyone is talking about anymore because it's all Tweets but yesterday...were there swampers in here actually defending the DNC in that NY Times story where all the delegates blatantly admitted they were conspiring against Bernie?

The worst part of the Garth/Barry jersey is that it's tucked in.

There you go on de Blasio. There's absolutely no excuse for a self-styled progressive to go on Hannity's show for commentary.

No one was defending that bullshit. People were, to varying degrees, defending the existence of a moderate wing of the Democratic Party.

To me, "conspiring" means something nefarious. It's not really nefarious for Democratic party leaders to work to prevent the nomination of someone who isn't a Democrat and who they believe is less likely to win in November.

Especially if you're talking about situation where Sanders and Candidate XYZ are roughly neck and neck. If Sanders is far and away ahead of the rest of the field, there's no excuse to try and stack the deck against him and it will in fact be extremely counter-productive. I think most reasonable people understand the difference between the former and latter scenario even if most Sanders loyalists won't/don't.

Regardless of what a few random people said to the New York Times, it's not a realistic scenario and again I think most reasonable people understand that.

It’s absolutely bullshit and will (deservedly) cost the Dems the election if they do it.

Biden's speech after this victory was the most articulate and passionate I've seen him in this campaign. He looked viable as a candidate in that moment.

It's still looking rough for him going into Tuesday, but this was as ideal an outcome as he could have hoped to achieve.

Also Warren went after Sanders in her speech tonight. I think she’s running to be Biden’s VP, which is disappointing.

She hasn’t gotten any delegates since Iowa and the Super Tuesday polling does not look good for her, at all. So her path to victory looks pretty nonexistent. The fact that her criticism is focused on Bloomberg and Sanders, and not Biden, makes me suspect that she’s angling for his VP spot. And I’m honestly not sure he could finish a term. The cognitive decline is real.

So that Clyburn endorsement was vital. Biden win big.

Luckily he doesn't get to build on that momentum much and Bernie should come out on top everywhere after Super Tuesday.

Looking forward to when Klobmentum finally goes the fuck home, but I suspect she'll try to stick around to Minnesota despite Bernie beating her there.

I'm surprised Steyer and Buttigieg didn't at least wait until the Super Tuesday results to quit.

They want their votes and percentages to go to Biden.
