The hatred Aaron Rodgers' family has for him warms my petty heart.

Chase Daniel likely to start for Bears tomorrow so might want to consider betting the total under.

If Adrian Peterson is still on your fantasy team, react accordingly.

Just trying to remember the name of a long ago backup QB who won an epic Thanksgiving game... Clint Longley of the Cowboys in 1975. Backup who led them to a huge win against the Redskins.
After a training room incident in which he sucker-punched Roger Staubach during the 1976 preseason, the team suspended and eventually traded him to the San Diego Chargers for first and second draft choices; the Cowboys used those two picks and two other picks to eventually land the No. 2 overall pick in the 1977 draft, selecting Tony Dorsett.[6]
At the time of the trade, Longley had thrown 44 NFL passes. That was one lousy trade. He ended up making one start for the Chargers who already had Fouts.

They went back to that game just to show that on RZ.

So my guess is the Bucs will use whatever flimsy excuse they can come up with in order to extend Winston. Take today, for example.

Hell of a hit by the Denver DB to cause that fumble. Shitty play by Grimble. Crap.

So Steelers have one time out left from the Denver 2. On third down they try a shovel pass to Juju which fails, and there’s about 12 seconds left in the half after the whistle. Denver still has 2 time outs left, so the Steelers let it run down to 3 seconds left before calling their last timeout.

Am I crazy for thinking Denver should have called timeout immediately after third down? If the Steelers scored, they could’ve received the kickoff and something could’ve happened with practically zero risk.

Of course, the Steelers scored the TD on a fake FG.

He’s taken four sacks so far, but Phil Rivers has completed all 25 of his attempts so far today.

Baker Mayfield didn't want to talk to Hue Jackson, because he didn't like him joining a division rival? The same Baker Mayfield who transferred from Texas Tech to join Oklahoma?

No, but Vance Joseph is pretty much a dead man walking, anyway.

You still might be right, but after wins over San Diego and Pittsburgh, and an upcoming schedule where the only remaining road games are against the Bengals, 49ers, and Raiders, his pulse is a bit stronger.

Subject to the usual caveats that QBs can get a lot better after their rookie year, it sure looks like the Browns nailed that pick by going against conventional wisdom to take Mayfield over Darnold.

I thought that Darnold might have a little too much Jameis Winston in him and so far he does. I don't know how much that improves.

Not sure. If the Steelers go for it and fail, you could end up with the ball on your own inch line or so and you can't take a knee.

Browns line is playing pretty well, but that also has something to do with Mayfield being pretty quick to get the ball out and moving from pocket at right moments.

Greg Robinson has been much better than Desmond Harrison, too.

And in Buffalo, Josh Allen looks... raw.

Kid is deceptively fast, but he either figures out when running isn;t an option, or he won't be in the league very long.
