Whoever it is had the juice to get it kept under wraps longer than Kraft, which means it has to be someone who is more powerful than rich. (or both, obvs)

Syb: This particular place wasn't the only one busted. This was part of a huge South Florida sting operation.
Other theory I heard is the bigger name may have been one of the people running it and was not a customer, so his name wasn't on this list.
Makes sense if you think about it. Particularly if this was a multi-county operation. The last step would be to bust the johns, right?

And as for Daniel Young who is 85... guy deserves a statue.

As with most PFT stuff take with a grain of salt and guessing the bigger name isn't the person we all hope it is, but still interested.
Schefter is reporting the same thing...I'm hoping he got it independently sourced.

How embarrassing to the NFL that someone out there is a “bigger name” than one of its owners.

Holy shit, that guest is a piece of work. I love that Tucker calls him "a professional dot connector who doesn't take things at face value." Fancy way of saying tinfoil wearing conspiracy theorist. I love how Tucker throws out "maybe Goodell wants to stop the Patriots from winning" and the tool goes off running with it, suddenly as if that's proven fact, saying, "but here is where Goodell screwed up..." as if he suddenly knows Goodell's machinations? And Tucker asks if Goodell's plot will work and stop the Pats from winning. Jesus Christ has Fox gone way over the nutty line. And Tucker calls it entrapment, because Goodell lured Kraft into a rub and tug.

It doesn't seem like Baragona realizes who Carlson is interviewing by saying "his guest" and not Barstool Sports founder/Patriots propagandist Dave Portnoy.

That aside, like is Portnoy now some Fox News stooge all of a sudden? He's been on a bunch of times. As if he couldn't get anymore loathsome

The Ringer really, really needs to buy out Pardon My Take. Big Cat appeared on Ryen Rusillo's (recurring guest) podcast with Chris Long (recurring guest). He and PFT (who has appeared on Chapo Trap House) are libs. I wonder what a day to day culture is like at Barstool. Gotta be insufferable.

Edit:

Oh snap, Syb. You don't know that's Portnoy either. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Oh, I didn't realize, either. I thought it was a Fox analyst. Now it makes sense, and shows Tucker will invite any idiot on to ramble.

So I looked into this a bit (one article), and saw this is part of an 8 month sting operation into numerous locations. I figured the cops raided while Kraft happened to be there. If the girls are servicing 1,500 clients per girl, and they surveilled several locations fr 8 months, there had to be 1,000s of johns, so why were 25 singled out and charged? Were they charged with just soliciting, or are they part of the bigger trafficking ring? Was Kraft just charged because he is famous? I saw the police labelled Kraft "a regular client", so I don't think he was just some poor old man with a bad back unfortunate to walk into the wrong stripmall day spa. FFS, what billionaire goes to a stripmall in Jupiter, FL for a legitimate massage?

There should be more to the story, you would think. Also, is it normal to have an 8 month operation when there are sex slaves involved? If you have women is such horrible conditions,I'd think they'd want to wrap it up quicker to save the women involved.

The number of men rushing to Kraft’s defense is to be expected (A character shield can form around somebody charged with a crime), but the number of men rushing to defend the john in this scenario? I find it somewhat disturbing. Like human trafficking through massage parlors is some hopeless catch-22, because after all, men will be men and who doesn’t love a good tug on the ol’ power drill?

Even putting aside my reflexive desire to mock the Patriots, I’m of the view that Kraft and the other johns deserve a lot of moral disdain if the allegations about the mistreatment of the women are even close to true. I agree with Brian’s point distinguishing between the use of pricy escorts, where there’s a much higher chance they’re making an economic choice of their own free will, and what appears to have gone on here.

Oh, and please spare your righteous sanctimony and don't conflate people defending sex crimes because they're Pats fans.

It can be both hilarious because when the ultra rich get caught committing a crime it's fun for the rest of us and absolutely harrowing and gross due to the sex trafficking simultaneously.

OK, reading the source material, the stop was a traffic stop so he would not have been told of the real reason. Still, shouldn’t he have asked himself why a white guy was getting pulled over?

My assistant has a nose for that kind of shit. I'm oblivious but she comes in and asks who is surveiling. I could definitely see getting pulled and going right on with your idiocy. I think prison and courts teach you the appropriate amount of paranoia so if youre not from the streets you have no clue to look.
