Both teams scored 3 in the 15th. O's got 2 in the 16th and Wilkerson, the center fielder, pitched a 1-2-3 inning for the save topping out at 55mph.
Evidently, a few pitches were too slow to be picked up by the pitch radar.
So how do the Angels not hit that?

If a pitcher could switch from 90+ to 50 mph, would it totally destroy hitters?

Sometimes, sure. But if they did it often enough, players would destroy too many of the slow pitches.

Watched his pitches this morning. Looked like he was throwing BP or HR derby ball.

Crazier thing...the fact that the Orioles are not the worst team in the bigs.
You're welcome.

Trying to see how many #1 overall picks the Tigers can get in the next few years.

Can one of you nerds verify that this is bad?
Safe to assume getting swept by the Mets is bad, too?

The Mets wanting win-now pieces for Syndergaard and the Yankees having two players who are win-now pieces that aren't of use to the 2019 roster would seem to make them a natural fit. Alas ...

Bengal isn’t happy. But I’ve just realized not every player is a saint. Joey votto probably chews with his mouth open or something.

Votto is a puss, he probably would only take on half of the Pirates dugout instead of all of it

No, they’re all interchangeablely bad and we never need to allow ourselves to hate our team and Aroldis Chapman closing out our games.

WEll, the Pirates just hit another REds batter. Didn't look intentional, but Winker did hit a homer in first at bat.

Angels just wasting away Trout's career.

On the cusp of a wildcard spot, lost 3/4 to Baltimore and 2/3 to Detroit.

Probably not sustainable, but the Giants went 19 and 6 in July. They were 36-47 on July 1, and now they are 55-53.

With the exception of the year that Marlins Park opened, the Marlins have ranked last in attendance in the National League every year since 2005. (They were 12th out of 16 that year).

The Tampa Bay Rays have ranked last in the AL in attendance every year since 2014, when they were next to last. Only five years in franchise history have they not been last or next to last.

Further burnishing the area's reputation, The NHL Florida Panthers are also perennially among the lowest attendance hockey teams (second-last in the league last season by both total attendance and percentage of capacity filled).

He has severe anxiety issues for sure. I wouldn't feel comfortable diagnosing him, but it's certainly not impossible.

The worst part about the Reds having even an inkling of a chance of postseason is that I have to hope that the Pirates play well and knock off some of these central teams, too. After the Reds sweep the Cubs this weekend it's gonna be a tight one til the end of the season.

And no bullshit, I thought for sure he'd stay. Even take a lesser deal to stay in Boston. I'm really not so sure now. I like Cora, but I just can't figure this team out. I can't figure out what's wrong with the rotation. The bullpen obviously sucks but the starters haven't carried water either. 1-6 the lineup is great. JBJ is a necessary evil and saves more runs in CF that I feel like it justifies him hitting .212 every year. I just don't get the "gel" of the team. Been tough this year.
