Johnson fires the brains behind his rise to power.
As of January 20th, Johnson officially becomes the biggest joke in the western political world.

I remember reading stories like this in the run up to the referendum and a few times since.
Is the government really this incompetent? Or do they just don't agree with the numbers?

Post-Brexit Border Test Leads to 5-Mile Traffic Jam in Southern England
Now this is the type of forward-thinking that shows true leadership...
The anticipated procedures have alarmed unions and officials in Kent, which worry that the backlogs will cause serious traffic disruptions.
They have also warned that Kent could become “the toilet of England” as drivers and thousands of trucks wait to cross the Channel. In response, the British authorities have promised to equip highways in the area with portable toilets.

Makes you wonder what the purpose of government actually is
"When the government was challenged on this issue in parliament last year, it claimed it was “not responsible for the supply of food and drink to the population in an emergency”. That is up to “the industry”. In other words, little has changed since the Irish famine of the 1840s and the Indian famines of the 1870s. It’s the same reckless, uncaring attitude that has helped kill 50,000 people in the pandemic."

Funny coincidence. I notice the author there resides in Milton Keynes. We have good friends who until recently lived in Milton Keynes. She is English and he is Scottish. They are/were so pissed off by Brexit that they relocated last year to Scotland.

Given the way the Brexit negotiations have gone, can you imagine how the ones after a Scottish Independence vote would go

Typical Welsh, voting against fish happiness. (what is the word for fish, like equine, bovine, canine...)

I'm reading a really good book on a variety of stuff related to the apocalypse (doomsday preppers, Silicon Valley turds buying thousands of acres in New Zealand, bunker communities, etc.) and learned that Rees-Mogg's father is basically a hero to the lunatic fringe right who think the world is going to end in the immediate future. He co-wrote a book that's basically a bible to these nutters.
