That keeper trialled with Orlando City last year and got cut.

Martin's goal in the MLS thread was nice, but I prefer the Zelalem's with the u-21 Arsenal v. U-21 Fulham.
but this is the part I like best

He is going to break through soon....just have to be patient...if not he will look good playing in the new DC United stadium

I've seen clips of Zelalem in other Arsenal Youth games, and the kid is unreal on the ball and with his vision and passing. I just don't see him getting any games with the full squad, other than possibly some League Cup matches. Best we can hope for is a loan spell in the January window. even then, I'd prefer to see him in a lower league. I don't want to rush his development like so many other superstar teen flameouts. Especially since he is such lightweight.

Was playing around in the yard with the kids last Sunday and executed a beautiful Cruyff Turn to fool the defenders for the score.

Under two minutes to go in the pouring rain in a 2-2 game. UVA (vs Louisville) got a free kick just beyond midfield...

Canada's goal against Ghana was pretty nice....not sure why in the world this game was played in Washington DC. My JV team in high school played in front of larger crowds

A Japanese high school team scored a pretty amazing goal to win the national high school football championship.

The commentator didn't seem impressed, but this is a beauty.

He did say it was a beautiful goal... I got the sense he wasn't calling the game, but doing some sort of highlight or news program. Took a slight deflection off of Koscielny's arm, too.

Nah, I'm guessing just dejected players. It must have been very late in the game for the yellow team to have everyone in the box. Once the goalie busted out, they just let him go. I'm guessing only second left in a game they were already down 2-1.

Shinji Okazaki's goal for the foxes today was nice. However, check out Quincy Amarikwa's chip from the weekend.

Ah, what the heck, let's just post the Amarikwa goal. Go, San Jose. (And for any of you who didn't understand PDX's post, please note the opposition team.)
