Hey Nonlinear, did you have a ball gag in your mouth when she scored?
Nice video!

More like I was imitating an effeminate adolescent male silverback gorilla.
It was one of those deals where you just had a feeling something was coming out of that play.* And our angle on that... The second she struck, you know that's going in.
* A big part of that "feeling" comes from the fact that we were absolutely destroying them with very simple balls down the flank and then dumping them in the mixer for almost the entire second half up to that point.
ETA - That's my daughter asking "Did you get that?" A few minutes later, she returned the favor capturing the 4th goal.
It was such an incredible vantage point to watch the game for us. She (and her team) is at the point where we're really getting into tactics, and I was able to talk to her about How you switch the ball (methodical vs. skipping the center back and going at pace) and also defensively... I didn't realize that when I was yelling at them to "lock it in!" on throw-ins deep in the opponents half... they really didn't know what I meant. But when I showed her how far pressed up and compact the US was with Haiti throwing in from their own 12 yard line... Huge Aha moment for her.
I tried to keep that shit to a minimum, but I could tell she was eating it up.
Now she wants to go to a DCU game (it's been YEARS.)
Sweet goal, but begs the question: why? It was set up perfectly for a normal right footed shot. Does he have a fuckawful right foot? Also have to wonder how Adebayor didn't get called for shoving the defender down to get the ball.

Two years ago, final moments of Championship Promotion Semi-Final between Leicester and Watford.
2-2 on aggregate, and Leicester have just been awarded a dodgy penalty 4 minutes into added time...

I've been hearing about that goal for days now. Not as good as I thought it would be but still very impressive! That kid is crazy good!
I liked the first and third best. Not sure which was better.

I always thought Vintage was a weird name for a high school. Mascot--the Crushers (not the cool wrestling kind, but the grape stomping kind.)
(Worst hometown reffing I have ever personally suffered. Man did we get hosed there senior year of high school, despite the fact we were looking past them, ahead to a showdown with Bill Cartwright's team the following week…but I digress. )

Ok, fine, I'll be that guy.
That is absolutely horrible goalkeeping. Dude had ALL DAY to slide over there and just slap the ball over the cross bar. I mean, good on the Ohoa kid for putting it there, but that's a really shitty piece of work from the netminder there.

I was going to say it if you didn't. Flatfooted lame ass jump. The ball wasn't dipping too much to make a fairly routine save. Sure, it is HS, but if you play that correctly, it should have been saved.

Charlie Adam with arguably the greatest goal in EPL history.
Also, Jermaine Defoe had a very nice goal vs. Newcastle yesterday:

I am never super impressed by the big 60 yard+ goal that is hit over the goalie is gets burned for being too far up the field. Great goal, sure, but best goal ever. No way. Big long runs or amazing passes and dribbles just are way more interesting to me.
