I'm surprised VAR didn't call down to have the ref take a second look at that. Distance probably saves the Turkish defender as it's impossible to get the arm out of the way.

It is Eriksen.
I don't know if he got hit or what, but when he was lying on the ground, his eyes were wide open and the pupils were dilated. Medical officials were doing CPR on him, and they used the electric paddles on him at least once.
Just a horrible thing to see unfold live on TV.

He didn’t get hit. He started collapsing as the ball was being thrown in to him.

Immediate flashback to watching the Grosjean F1 crash last year and the horror quickly growing that you might have just seen someone die. At least with that it was resolved relatively quickly.
Seeing chest compressions for that long still on the pitch, and stretchered off with curtains around and no news...
this is so scary.
