Happy Holidays to y'all....have a great Christmas.

And to start the festivities...how about Mike Doughty (from Soul Coughing) doing a 'Deck The Halls'/'War Pigs' mashup...

I sent an email to my work this morning saying I'd be working from home this morning, and taking PTO this afternoon.

My boss responded that today was a paid holiday. The lesson, of course, is that I'm an idiot at times.

Just had our annual Christmas Eve dinner with Mrs. Sabo's brother. As soon as he left, I turned to the Mrs. and said "I still wanna know how the fuck you two are related."

So yeah, this year's dinner went swimmingly.

Happy Christmas to you all. Made my first Beef Wellington and it turned out fantastic, I was a tad worried working with such an expensive piece of fucking meat. Got it to the table only 30 minutes late and done almost perfectly.

Santa was good to the kids, and there was wine and beer aplenty.

Very nice. That's on our menu as well. Thankfully, I'm not the chef.

Hope everyone has a great one. I’m stuck at home with a nasty bug for the first time maybe ever. I rarely get sick but this one has been a doozy since Sunday afternoon. We’ve got a second Xmas with my family on Saturday so I’m hoping to be well by then. Merry Christmas all!

About two hours away from the first phase of the travels. Today's drive is only about 5 1/2 hours. Wheeeee.

Kids were very happy with Santa (and I think everything has been assembled), so that's important.

My Christmas rules - Jen got me a t-shirt that says Joe Burrow and the B is a Bengals B.

I win Christmas.

Did she get you a “CHAS(E)TENED” one too, just in case you need it in the spring?

Send somebody to the stop and go
We need some celery and a can of fake snow
A bag of lemons and some Diet Sprite
A box of tampons and some Salem Lights
Hallelujah, everybody say cheese

My dad just saw a recipe in the paper for champagne punch and got excited for reasons above.

Just noticed the continuity error with the pickle jar at the end of A Christmas Story. Devastated. That it took me this long.

Merry Christmas/Happy Hanukkah/Happy New Year, Swamp. Nothing cynical or snarky to go along with it.
