Heh.

Feels like they need to cut another Progressive commercial.

Lamar Jackson got the 1-2 read BS in college even though it was demonstrably not true.

Jacob Eason has a major flaw to me and that is that he is an actual 1-2 read QB, yet you'll probably never hear that critique of him one single time.

Other than that I think he's easily the second-best QB in this draft and arguably the best but that is such a major flaw that it might sink him by itself.

I don't mind the new CBA (It's not MY brain!) but I think one tweak should be: instead of capping it at $250k/extra week of prorated salary, I think everyone should get $250 for that week. It doesn't hurt the top guys, but it hugely helps the little guys on the back end. And would probably be cheaper than prorated for everyone. The $250k cap is basically agreed upon salary depression, but I think youd have the guys making 30 mil buy in if it went to the little guys.

Why is a proposal this ridiculous even being allowed to get off the ground? "We want another game and also everyone making more than $4MM per will be playing for less than before" should be a non-starter.

Another thing is how asinine a 17-game season would be. Half the teams in the league in any given year would be stuck playing an extra road game. Even if it's alternated, and even if they initially do it by a random draw (which I guess would be fair in the sense that it wouldn't be arbitrary), that's gifting half the teams in the league having a built-in advantage.

I can't even see if they try to make it 16 neutral-site games every year. Is there really that much of a worlwide market for football? I sure wouldn't think so.

I also assumed the extra games would be neutral for every team. So the Bengals play a game in LSU Tiger stadium next year, for example against Houston from not far away. (I obviously haven't looked for the schedule just playing hypothetical). I'd say keep them more in the US than abroad. You have a decent game in Lousiville? I might go.

Hoo boy. Burrow's hand measured at smallest first round talent since 2008. I'm sure Bengals twitter will handle this appropriately.

We’re mostly pleased because it should stop the “he’s gonna pull an Eli” narrative.

I just checked again and I'm actually slightly over, maybe +3/16. I need someone else to do this and let me know if I have weirdly large hands, he has super small hands (at 6'3) or if I'm measuring wrong.

I’m six three and I measured at one tick under 9. I believe myself to have small hands. That’s my throwing hand. Off hand is two ticks over nine.

Sure you didn't a ruleur with millimeters? You'd be, by far, the biggest among QBs.

Maybe I didn't measure properly.

I did it with fingers spread out measuring thump tip to pinkie tip.

Not to go on about it, but I am ridiculously excited to learn that I have bigger hands than some NFL QBs.

So apparently the NBA measures it differently. From wrist to tip of middle finger.

Do that exercise to make yourself puny compared to Kawhi.
