Yes. All this talk about how he's a 250 lb mythological specimen but he was just content to have college kids bounce off his legs in everything I've seen.

Got it. The hype train has def left the station on him - in part because of his line. That part is legit.

I saw that earlier but got distracted and didn’t post. That’s fucking criminal and just hateful.

This comment has nothing to do with the merits of his lawsuit, but when I think of Najeh Davenport, there's only one thing that comes to mind.

And broke in to do it I think.

ETA: Shit in a closet sounds like it could be a Drive By Truckers song.

The hits keep coming for Dan Snyder and the Washington Football Club.

Lewd cheerleader videos, sexist rules: Ex-employees decry Washington’s NFL team workplace
In “Beauties on the Beach,” the official video chronicling the making of the Washington NFL team’s 2008 cheerleader swimsuit calendar, the women frolic in the sand, rave about their custom bikinis and praise a photographer for putting them at ease in settings where sometimes only a strategically placed prop or tightly framed shot shielded otherwise bare breasts.

What the cheerleaders didn’t know was that another video, intended strictly for private use, would be produced using footage from that same shoot. Set to classic rock, the 10-minute unofficial video featured moments when nipples were inadvertently exposed as the women shifted positions or adjusted props.

The lewd outtakes were what Larry Michael, then the team’s lead broadcaster and a senior vice president, referred to as “the good bits” or “the good parts,” according to Brad Baker, a former member of Michael’s staff. Baker said in an interview that he was present when Michael told staffers to make the video for team owner Daniel Snyder.
And that's just scratching the surface...

Snyder's gonna be gone. His minority partners will probably end up suing him to make him sell and claim lack of fiduciary responsibility for their investment (and while I'm not a lawyer, seems like they might have a good case) and that will be the cover for the shield to boot him.

Cuts today. Saddest day of the year. Can't even put on a show for other teams in preseason. Lots of teams used those joint practices to poach players. Lots of guys heading back to teams for enhanced practice squads. Could really stash some guys with no one knowing this year.

And it's time for a new thread. There will be football dammit. Don't ask questions no one knows the answer to. Football! Last night was huge high schools here.

ETA: probably should have. Injury history. Regime change.

If you told me an NFL star in his late 20s was retiring Kuechly would have been one of my first guesses.

If I had to make a wild guess for the future (and he didn't have to be a star) for a surprise retirement it would be John Ross.
Took a step towards that today.
