Heh.

So, the SLC airport has been closed since this morning, though they expect it to reopen. So more passengers milling about in close quarters.

Angel Moroni has lost his trumpet.

I had two glass-framed pictures fall off a shelf and break. And the big map of Utah on my wall is now tilting to the left. (If only.)

But there seems to be little serious damage anywhere, and no injuries. And there's only a 3-5 percent chance that a bigger one will hit in the next few hours. So I got that going for me, which is nice.

When we had ours last summer, that bigger one did hit (though that was the end of it). It's very unsettling/scary. Glad you're all OK.

Centered near San Ramon in the East Bay. I live west of the Bay and I didn’t feel anything. 3.8 isn’t that big a deal unless you are near the epicenter.

I didn't feel it here but a bunch of people in my meeting did. I heard what sounded like a huge wind gust. Apparently that was it.

I’m at my parents today in Southern Jersey, I didn’t feel a thing. If this turns out to be no real damage I’m going to be disappointed.

If it is damage, it’d be scary and potentially tragic, obviously. But if this knocks out my flight Sunday I guess I’m going on a road trip.

Epicenter was near where Oiler got married 5 years ago. It's pretty out there.
