No doubt. I was once taking cyclo and prednisone at the same time, for different issues. You take Prednisone on a 6/day, 5/day etc schedule. The pills look so similar. Popped 4 cyclos thinking it was prednisone. THAT was a very relaxed day.
Oof. I took 2, and just didn't give a fuck about anything. I may have said it before, but I don't think they relieved my muscle spasms or pain, just made it so I didn't care about it. Percocet, muscle relaxers and booze are the ultimate. Couldn't remember the name of the relaxer I had years ago, but that was the greatest. They need a better warning about mixing with alcohol. "Will increase the effects of the drug" isn't working on me.

Thanks to living in Las Vegas and Michigan I've drank beer outside in almost every environment imaginable between -20F and 115F. There's something to be said for each. And downsides to each.

Figure of speech right? Last I knew that was in the plans...

Having a double apricot blonde from Dry Dock. There excellent apricot blonde (for a fruit beer, great lawn mower beer) aged with apricots for 6 months in whiskey barrels. 10%. Smooth.

Also looking forward to the Melvin 2x4 DIPA (at a smooth 9.9%) next.

Moved on to Founders Backwoods Bastard, which is really piling on to the previous DIPAs. Almost through with my stockpile of the BBastard, but they should be coming out again soon. General consensus on the beer geek sites is that it goes bad after 6 months, but fuck them. At one year from the bottling date, this is perfect. Bourbon is subdued, almost equal to the oaky vanilla, dark fruit and caramel malts. Fresh, it's like drinking a glass of lower proof bourbon.

Your Swamp-memory is impressive, but not impeccable. (It's actually my friend who hates Bob Seger, not me. 'There are two kinds of Bob Seger songs: the kind I hate, and the kind that makes my fucking skin crawl.')

I really like the idea of live-blogging drunk strangers in public. We need more of this.

Anyway, enjoy your Saturday night, lit Swampers. Plenty of football and hockey and, I'm presuming, IPAs to keep you occupied.

Unibroue's heavy brews are amomng the best this country has ever produced.

I was at a French restaurant last night that had Trois Pistoles (9% and smooth). A fine evening indeed.

I'm way over due to go back to TJ. Unfortunately, NJ severely limits the number of locations a chain store can sell beer, so only one TJs in my area can sell beer.

Jeez, they limit the number of store locations that can sell you beer? What a place. Next thing you know, New Jersey will prohibit you from pumping your own gas!

They do the same in CO. The one TJs that sells beer in CO is in south Denver in the middle of a clusterfuck of intersections and has a postage sized parking lot. Plus because it's considered a grocery you have to go into a separate part of the building to get booze and purchase it with a separate transaction. We only go once a year. Basically to get the annual and stock up on other beers and 3$ chuck.
