Is it just me, or is it understandable for Drago to want to kill a dude after all this shit? I mean, flip the nationalities, and Americans would want to see the Russian guy die.

Drago probably never had to learn how to block punches, but it's a skill he absolutely doesn't have. Even Rocky and Apollo bother to block some punches in their previous fights in the series.

Oh, definitely. If he hadn't kept going after him after the referee tries to stop the fight, you couldn't blame him at all. In reality, he probably would have been tried for manslaughter. A real Russian who pushes the ref away and then kills a guy in the ring absolutely would have been in 1985.

And fuck Bill Simmons, but this "YOU CAN'T WIN!" here really does hurt. It's one of the only decently delivered lines in the movie. Talia Shire was in the fucking Godfather trilogy but still did these nonsense movies (after the first one).
