Pretty sure you can turn it off (and save a miniscule amount of battery life), but I'm also pretty sure it's default is to run around the clock.

There are some mildly entertaining (and kind of disturbing) YouTube channels geared around Tesla cameras always being on and capturing random shit.

A lot of the random = People keying or otherwise vandalizing Tesla's because durr.

If they retweet nonsense but you’re okay with their own tweets, there’s the “turn off retweets” option.

there's also the downside of simply using twitter less rather than unfollowing people, which is obviously way worse for twitter itself
