Except that hockey players and hockey fans really hate afternoon games. I've never figured out why, just habit I think.
Sportsnet often tries to sneak in a Saturday triple header and the afternoon game gets horrible ratings. And for playoffs, teams don't play back to back. This is probably the first time in 20 years.

Could still do quadruple headers.

Very scary. On a somewhat positive note, he did move his hands and his legs while they were being extra cautious around his neck

Yeah, I didn't see the hit/injury happpen, but definitely noticed him moving his hands on his own. It looked like he was flexing his feet as well, but that was harder to tell if it was him, or the trainers moving them. Scary. 15 minute or so delay. Really took them a long time to get that back board put together.

How can NBCSN be so good with EPL coverage and so bad with NHL coverage?

Because there are no challengers. Whos going to take the NHL contract away from NBC? The NHL is practically paying them.

Ridding themselves of Roenick was a start, but Milbury, McGuire and Jones are all dreck. If they were smart they'd poach Jeff Marek. Give him a godfather offer, with editorial control.

Not sure I feel strongly either way there. I'd rather he went to a Eastern team for starters, but it being Toronto or Pittsburgh would still chap me.

ETA: At least the Rangers really wouldn't have made the playoffs if it were a "normal" season. Pittsburgh being rewarded for being a five seed and shitting the bed in the qualifying round would be peak NHL.
