That's why we play all 4Qs, gentlemen.

Now I don't have to lick that Marlins bat. Thank God.

Indeed! Thank goodness I remember blowouts of my youth, rather than blowouts from my college years (we had a keg and about 10 people for that Charger-9ers Super Bowl I think I was shitfaced by the second quarter.)

Only had two possible answers for final and other was doug Williams. So I was drawing dead either way.

This question epitomizes my failing memory. Last week I wrote about my college's rivalry with Valpo, and I couldn't remember their damned nickname. Thought of Ball, couldn't remember their nickname. Completely forgot about Purdue, and somehow didn't think of Notre Dame, after spending the evening last Saturday in the backyard of a friend who moved here from a position as a professor at fucking Notre Dame! Her husband kept talking about the beers he drank in Indiana, because 3 Floyds is now available in NJ. How did I not think of ND?

I figured Purple Aces would be a high-scoring answer. But I wanted to use it anyway because it’s such a great nickname.

No love for the NIT Consolation match? I didn't realize I was playing for anything, so I spent 5 minutes answering and had one of the best games of my career. Sometimes not thinking about the answers is the best approach. I did talk myself out of Morty Seinfeld, which would have been a one-pointer. I was hoping people wouldn't think Peterman wasn't in enough episodes.

I had all but two of those answers and any one of them would have been much better of course but I really didn’t think it would be high. I certainly didn’t know the mastodons.

I’ve looked back at my answers and I don’t feel bad about any of them. Obviously a wrong on the last hurt but there weren’t a lot that I would have picked that would have helped that much. I punched above my weight in the playoffs. Just chose poorly. But rush is a fixbig cybrog or something anyway.

I figured you were going Dons when you mentioned it up thread. I figured Evansville would be high. Figured IUPUI was going to be low for me. As well as Valpo. Surprised Butler was a 1 pointer.

I thought of Butler and Valpo as schools on the radar, but folks might not remember their mascot.

I am also always going to be in the mix on college mascot questions. That was a drinking game in college, just different variants of that type of question. We got to the point of D3 at some point senior year.

I dicked around with Friends ideas, but just had very little confidence in the number of episodes for certain characters, like Giovani Ribisi (Frank Jr) or couldn't remember names (Paul Rudd... Mike?? -- also probably not enough episodes.)

Yeah I've never even heard of that school.

The one I was thinking of was Valpo.

I also could have SWORN that the ISU Sycamores would be like, a 10 pointer or something.
