First off - when I got home, I logged in on my own wifi, and now the comments DO load.

And, to answer your question, I did reach out to them, and got back this answer:

This has worked for me so far. Thanks! Not sure why I didn't think to do that in the first place.

My wife asked at some point what the rest area was like inside since it looked so nice outside. I said..."huh, never thought about it. Just got our picture and rolled on to the shore."

Its nicer than most in terms of layout and cleanliness but the food options suck. Like below "whatever, I'm hungry" level.

Same here. None of the three are under a screen name that hides their identity. Haven't seen Bengal write anything there recently, but I saw brian recycle a post from here yesterday, prompting my post.

They used my submission for WYTS!

When I was 18 in 1991 season, I had my first serious girlfriend. She didn’t give a shit about football. So while that Lions team was grinding the embryo of the Jimmy Johnson Cowboys dynasty into a fine paste, I was not watching. I was doing boyfriend shit. What that shit was, I could not honestly tell you. We broke up a few weeks later.

The only Lions playoff win in the last 67 years and I missed it. I’ll be 50 when the 2023 season starts, and there’s definitely a non-zero chance that I will not only never see the Lions win a Super Bowl, I may very well never see them win a playoff game for the rest of my life.

This was pretty interesting, though I was expecting a dark turn at some point explaining the dude's motivation that never happened. I guess her BS just pissed him off. Bookmarking it in case the Nyad movie does end up an awards contender.

And I've hung out on the beach with Bruce Wigo. His daughter's family are our vacation buddies who we see every year at the shore.
