I am not tired of actual protests. I'm tired of super-helpful white people harassing other people in diners who won't raise their first, or who burn buildings just because they finally have an excuse to tear shit down. Neither of those activities will do a damn thing to reduce police violence.

I hear ya! The prospect of Trump weaponizing white anxiety over the protests and winning the election has me depressed, too.

The property destruction part, although i guess I’m also not really against making the type of person who seems able to comfortably eat their meal amidst a protest uncomfortable.

I think I mentioned before that I was registered Republican for a long time, until maybe around 2014 or so. I was never super hard-core about it, (I never once voted a straight ticket, for example) but I kept my registration on file until very recently. Anyway, I received an email from my old town's Republican group mentioning they are putting together a summit of sorts of SE PA Republican groups. I just closed off my facebook profile for the public (I'll probably be deleting it completely in about a month), and then emailed back that I was interested in going.

I can't wait to mole those motherfuckers. I'll keep you guys posted. Learn their tactics from the inside.

Id say Trump is starting to get some first downs maybe even points or a TD but the clock is your friend. Keep punting Joe. He will beat himself.

Agreed. Weird invite in the first place.

Biden won't be able to "punt" all the way until the election. We haven't seen our last black person shot by LEO's and we haven't seen the last vigilantes going vigilante.

And I don't think it's outlandish to think that leo's shooting black people is part of the plan.

Sometimes I wish I didn't have to be relatively careful on social media.

I murmured in here that Floyd's shooting seemed rather brazen and...planned? Like if you are trying to set something off planned. It got laughed at. It was probably not a great thought. But it crossed my head again after what happened in Kenosha that...just maybe.
