Every single thought process on the Trump train is reduced down to the most base emotions of victimization. It’s amazingly childish. And they will sit there and call everyone else snowflakes.

I’ve been forced to get in politics discussions at work over the last two weeks and I fucking hate it. Surprise surprise but at the manager level in heavy industry in the south there’s a ton of trump support. I’ve heard repeatedly that Biden is just a senile old man and the really scary one is Kamala who is “the most liberal senator.” “She’s to the left of Bernie.” Honestly it’s like being in a different reality.

Also getting close to being ready to punch the next person who says “Boy, I can’t wait for the election to be over so we can stop hearing about this corona virus.” Its fucking insane but there is a huge segment of the population that thinks it’s being over played just to hurt trump in the election. I have to calmly point out to them that all these other countries in the world that are also locking down completely and taking massive actions aren’t going to go through that just to help the us media take down trump. And the response almost always is “oh yes they would. They hate trump.”

And in the next sentence, they will say that the rest of the world finally respects the US because they all love Trump so much and recognize he is the most amazing leader in the history of the world. They cold hold two polar opposite beliefs on everything.

I very much regret not just taking this week off work and booking some cabin in the woods without Internet and stocking the cabin with nothing but comfort food, booze and weed and not even coming out until like Friday to learn what happens, you guys.

But I wasn't really factoring in what will happen in many major cities if Biden loses. Shit show.

I don't think there's a scenario that wouldn't leave a lot of cities and towns at risk.
