That unnecessary roughness on the Jets defender right now, the D’s third personal foul this game, is egregious enough to fire Gase and Williams at halftime.

Bengals and Browns followed by Dolphins and Jaguars followed by Jets and Broncos. All the best teams on Thursday night!

On the other hand, Bengals/Browns and this one has been pretty entertaining.

Yea, it's cleared up a bit since my earlier comment.

ETA

Rypien with that lead block was great.

there should be some rejoicing at TNF getting some bad teams out of the way. combined records of the remaining TNF teams are 38-27-1 and that includes the Giants, Eagles, Falcons and Vikings adding 11 losses and one tie to that total

That was one of the worst football games I have ever watched, including the commentary. Mercifully, I fell asleep a few minutes into the fourth.

It was not available on my setup. But by the grace of g-d there go I.

I played Carcassone with my wife, then played Hades and watched Fargo. Good night.

Here's a fun read about the ineptitude of the Bears that led to the drafting of Trubisky.

"The worst thing you can do is give a coach a QB he doesn't want," said the former AFC scout.
Gonna go out on a limb and say this scout used to work for the Browns.

They re-tested the Saints' player who returned a positive and the updated result was negative, so the game is expected to be played.

All the rest of the Patriots are negative. So how the hell did Cam get COVID? Was he the only one to attend the ACB super spreader event?

It takes time for the incubation period, so the rest of the Patriots are negative now. Patriots-Chiefs game has been scheduled for 7pm Eastern tomorrow.

I’m starting my Chiefs this week and hoping. I could’ve started Stafford in place of Mahomes one league, but I really need the win.

I benched Mahomes because my opponent has Cam as his QB1 and Derrick Henry as his RB1 and is probably screwed. I think I should still win the matchup starting a QB2 and don’t want to risk the 0.0 if there are positive test results tomorrow that push the game to another week.

This Cowboys/Browns game looks like a Big 12 game. Might be first to 50 wins.

Does the two-point conversion card actually say to go for two when you cut it to 21 points to set up the succession of 19-11-3, meaning opting into having to make three straight two-point conversions to get the benefit of only needing a field goal to tie? The other side of the coin was to kick the extra point to get within 20, meaning three TDs with extra points for the win.

Basically, the reliance on making three straight two-point conversions (pretty much a 50% chance for each) guiding the decision to go for the initial two is what is not squaring in my brain.

It's Dallas/Mike McCarthy, so...

There you go. 3/3 on 2-point converts.

I've never seen this before.

Cleveland gets the XP blocked after a wild touchdown by OBJ.

But since Dallas touched the ball after it crossed the line of scrimmage on the block (instead of leaving the dead ball alone) and it was recovered in the end zone by the Browns, it's a 2 pt conversion.

I didn't think that was allowed, you can't advance a block FG.

From lowest to highest, my football teams gave up 38, 42 and 6 this weekend.

I need some D.
