How about those Bills?

First division title since the first Clinton administration.

Fun fact - before tonight, the Colts won the AFC East more recently than the Bills.

The Lions last division title was 1993. VGK has as many division titles in the 36 years.

Even as someone who was high on Josh, I never expected him to play this well. It’s been so much fun to watch him grow and succeed.

That was some week 15 evil, the Packers deciding to go heavy on the run and mothball their passing game. Just - chef's kiss - fantasy playoff week evil.

Ha! Mine’s pretty awesome though as BSF can attest. The Lions, on the other hand...

Why is the Dallas v SF game on CBS? I thought Fox is NFC and CBS AFC?

I think now that the nfl can flex games out of time spots for prime time it leads to the network that got a game pulled can pick from any games.

That almost makes sense. But this is the NFL. Hmmm.

Correct--NBC swapped with CBS so that America could watch Colt McCoy tonight.

Matt Ryan sucks in crunch time.

Not news, but he took three sacks late in that game - rookie mistakes.

I like Aqib Talib as a broadcaster (Cards v. Iggles). Very unpolished (and sounds very black, so you know a “certain” segment of the audience hates him), but he is Romo-esque in his ability to see and relate what is happening on the field.

If the Saints lose today, the Bears will win at Jacksonville next week while Green Bay disposes of Tennessee. This will enable them to then win at home against a Green Bay team who has nothing to play for, meaning they would close on a four-game win streak to squeak into the playoffs (and lose on the road in the wild card round), the Bears will retain Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy, they'll probably try to re-sign Mitchell Trubisky, and I'll drive directly into a snowplow.

Sean McVey always has to be the smartest one in the room -those two deep shots on 3rd and 4th and 4 when they needed to move the sticks - aiming at Akers on a wheel and a TE on a go were just about as fucking dumb as it gets.

only have to show up for 20 minutes every week to beat the Jets, and the Rams couldn't do it.

You kick that onside 10 times out of 10. Why is everyone so dumb?

Does the Jets winning change anything going forward as far as teams early firing their lame-duck coaches? Seems like Bieniemy or whoever would be far more committed to the future than Gase and his staff would be.

Onside kicks dont work anymore. Something like 2 out of 50 this year.

The rate has been super-low in obvious onside kick situations for years. Only the "surprise" ones work something like 35% of the time.

What’s the scenarios
they are each 1-13. Not sure who has the tie-breaker.

Jets are currently at #2 - so that win may have cost them Lawrence.

Heard one of the talking heads say that the Jags played the weaker strength-of-schedule, so that wins them the tiebreaker to draft first.

The Browns are going to win 11 games in a season where 7 teams make the playoffs and still end up missing on a tie breaker.

That would require quite a parlay of events to happen. I wouldn't lose too much sleep about it. 11 wins should do it.

Yeah browns lose tiebreak to ravens but own it over colts. So it would take some conspiracy level shot if they actually won 11.

This was my fantasy nightmare scenario coming into this week. If Cincinnati had any semblance of a legitimate QB, I'd put Higgins in. (my team is on the right)

SL and other Steelers fans (and others I suppose):

Similar nightmare - thoughts?

I'm gonna need 20 yards tomorrow night to win ( and no fumbles). I have juju or boyd available to choose from.

Twice this year JuJu had less than 20 yards in a game. Once 6 yards and once 19 yards.

Boyd has gone below 20 once, but that was a game after burrow got hurt with Allen at qb (against the giants).

Finley at qb for Cincy. Boyd had 62, 0, and 101 yards last year in Finley's three starts. The zero was against the raiders. The 101 was against the Steelers.

Nightmare 1: I go with Juju, Steelers control game and run it a ton and game script it to other receivers and juju goes under 20 when I pick him.

Nightmare 2: I go with Boyd, Finley is Finley, Steelers D line mauls bengals o line, and Boyd never really sees the ball, as happened a few weeks ago in giants game with Allen or last year once with Finley.

Nightmare 2 more likely, right? I gotta go w/ Juju?

It’s just 20 yards dammit. I shouldn’t be swearting it this much...

SL - I would stay Diontae in your scenario i think. I bet they force him the ball to show confidence in him. Which plays into my nightmare 2 scenario...
