Eh, you can still laugh at a good burn.
The real sick burn will be when summer temps regularly reach 120F in Salt Lake City in 50 years. Fortunately I'll be long dead.

It’s a little odd to watch somber discussions about how to repair trust in government and curb the flood of pandemic deaths, and then see “Next: Jon Bon Jovi Performs”

I think its ridiculous how Biden is using a Pen to sign the Executive Orders and not a Sharpie, plus why the hell isn't he holding the EO up for the camera to see his signature?

WTF is wrong with him?

It got dusty when I saw Harris sworn in. Such a great moment. I don't remember ever being so happy about a President's actions as I am today. Sure, it's in contrast to the scumbag before him, but Biden has already done so much good on his first day.

Jen Psaki is awesome and so cool, but where the hell is her Binder?

Anyways, Why the fuck are we always so concerned with Putin? Geez, First question was if Biden has reached out to Putin.

Good Start

Vote was 84-10, I bet Hawley was 1 of the 10.

Edit
And I was right and Tommy Tubervile is a POS.

Yes, she really is. Her temperament is perfect and her answers to questions that aren't exactly important are still very cordial and upbeat.

Her answer to whether or not overturning some of Trump's abortion laws was "We'll have to look but all I have to say is that he's a devout Catholic who goes to church regularly."

I'm not disagreeing by the way. That's actually a remarkably candid answer.

It was doubly shrewd because she got that question from a conservative Catholic christian outle (EWTN) and reminding the questioner in the answer of Biden's catholicism probably smart gentle pushback.

Also, that's big Tilda Swinton in Michael Clayton looks and energy from the WH press secretary...

I’m just now watching the press briefing. Psaki is doing a great job of filibustering without really answering most of the questions.

It was on in our office and, while I wasn't watching, I could hear her. I started to get aggravated as she dropped a handful of "ums" during answering one question and remembered what it had been like before today.

Interspersing bits from americans helping out and then having them throw it to the musical acts has been effective and moving. Someone in the Biden WH knows how to do 21st century media, imagry, and messaging effectively.

By the way, Timberlake killed. Again.

I wish I could watch a live feed of Trump supporters hate watching this.

(It's sappy and lame, mostly, let's be real here. But knowing that Republicans are stewing about everything about today means it's the greatest production of all time.)

They really do. The convention was really well done as well (I thought).

I will quibble about calling Foo Fighters a 'Seattle' Band though...
