I hope that Hoopla isn't like YouTube, or else my future recommended videos are going to be horrible.

An Arye Gross movie that I think about way too often relative to its merits is The Experts.

Honestly, might be a good candidate for one of these movie nights. If you want to see Travolta as his absolute nadir, but on the movie where he met his future wife, have I got the movie for you.

In that case, if you hated the first half of this movie, you're really gonna hate the second half of this movie.

Yeah. This is pretty clearly the work of well-meaning people who had no idea what they were actually producing and what it would look like to anyone who wasn’t them.

Good things from this venture:

1. Giff laughed again at the basketball scene.

2. I apparently picked a good pause point.

One of the only redeeming things about this movie is the estates of some great Black musicians got some royalties. (Though honestly white people probably ended up stealing those too.)

That movie and Better Off Dead are awesome but I don't think they'd work for this because they're more enjoyable to actually watch normally.

Why does Rae Dawn Chong look so familiar? IMDB didn't have anything pop out that I would have seen her in.
