Thought it was the grocery store for a minute and was like damn.

(Same family, but separate an unaffiliated otherwise.)

I may have told this story once but we have a Fry's in Indy on the northside. Went in there probably a year and a half ago to try to find some tvs/monitors for new laptops. The place was empty and when I say that I mean it looked like it had been robbed. There were no employees anywhere. And this is a big fucking store, like twice as big as a Lowe's or Home Depot. We wandered for 10 minutes and never saw anyone who worked there. I swear we could have just picked stuff up and walked it out the door.

When that place opened 10 years back or so, it was a modern wonder. There was a cafe. Hundreds of people working and shopping. Turnstiles to get in and 50 checkout lanes with security at both ends to prevent shoplifting.

It was wild and eerie. Can't believe they lasted another 18 months.

Haven't been to a Fry's in a couple of years, but it used to absolutely be the place for computer components.

I never even knew it existed in the first place. I guess it never made it out here.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

The one in Las Vegas was somehow in the middle of a highway interchange. I'm not sure it was even accessible by road (obviously it was but I'm barely kidding).

That must be a common trait. The one here is very visible from the highway and very confusing to get to.
