Yeah, I really liked season 3. It wasn't as good as S1 and it didn't really have much conflict, but it was still an enjoyable and funny watch.
It was solid. Just finished it up. A bit dodgy at times this season but overall a good run.

Loved every episode of that show. Had a ton of laugh out loud funny moments and moments you don’t catch until you rewatch it (with subtitles).

I liked it a lot but in true S2-3 fashion they glossed over the stuff at the end that would have made for incredible full scenes.

Swamp favorite Sturgill Simpson is going to be in the new season of "Righteous Gemstones"...
Danny McBride’s televangelist comedy The Righteous Gemstones is set to return to HBO and Max starting June 18, and a new trailer reveals that Sturgill Simpson has been cast in the series’ third season. New additions also include Steve Zahn, Kristen Johnston, Stephen Dorff, Shea Wigham, Lukas Haas, Robert Oberst, Stephen Schneider, and Iliza Shlesinger. According to IMDB, Simpson (whose character appears to be one of two brothers operating in some type of Christian “militia”) will appear in nine episodes.

Really enjoyed the last two episodes/telnovellas)

1.) Still underused Mike/Will/ et al overall this season.
2.) You KNEW they weren't gonna kill off Max
3.) Whole Russian thing at least finally tied it together. Just hope a Russian can have no name and move to the US
4.) Lucas's performance when things started going really bad for Max was amazing acting. That kid was great all season, to be honest.
5.) I wasn't as attached to Eddie and always figured he might not make it.
6.) The vecna being behind it all was a decent twist that sets up Season 5 well
7.) An earthquake? FOH!

Serious question about a completely unserious topic:

Do you guys get high before watching that show? My kids were running through their favorite skits the other night, trying to convince me how hilarious the show is and... I'm clearly missing something.

I've never been more internally confused about a show. I've watched every episode, and I'm still not sure if it's hilarious and genius, or the dumbest show ever made. I usually watch when I'm too high to watch something requiring concentration. I'll find myself thinking a sketch is stupid, predictable and just keeps going...then I laugh out loud. I'm thinking sober, I'd probably just be annoyed. Robinson plays the same character in every skit. He's great at it, but it got old for me. I get it, you are the impulsive weirdo in an office that can't stop making a stupid joke for attention, then will great frustrated and start yelling...

I will admit that any love for the show has to be at least somewhat predicated on how funny you personally find Tim Robinson yelling to be.

But that’s a weird criticism considering most of the sketches are much shorter than SNL and often end abruptly. The latter is one of the reasons I like it so much. Robinson, Zach Kanin and the writers seem to have a knack for wringing every ounce of humor out of whatever bizarre premise and they don’t mind just ending whenever.

I agree with this, and if I take half an edible, I usually get super focused. OTOH, a show like Succession, I struggle to stay engaged for a full episode.

As for the SNL skit that goes on too long, I get the criticism, even if the skits are much shorter than SNL skits, there is usually much less build up, and the joke is made immediately, then repeated and ramped up 7 or 8 times. Sometimes it gets increasingly funny, sometimes it doesn't.
