Word is out that the Yankees have chosen to play Boston in the event of a 4 way tie.
Also both Boston and the Jays have chosen to play one road game instead of two homes game if that scenario comes to be.

It’s hard not to be happy for the Yankees right now. And if Boston joins them in the next few minutes, well that’s just a win-win.

I know we were fucking around acting like Stanton might have competition for the AL MVP but … does Stanton have competition for the AL MVP?

In all seriousness, if you can’t get monster TV ratings and buzz out of Yanks-Sox and Dodgers-Cardinals, just pack it up and convert every ballpark into a cricket oval

Would love to bet my retirement money on Red Sox-Yankees being over 4 hours, 9 innings or not.

I kinda get it? Theirs and a lot of teams' managerial role is strictly to manage the players as humans where the majority of decision making is done by/with the front office and before the game ever starts. I don't think Boone is great by any means, but that's probably more on a front office that gave him an entirely right-handed lineup and only Brett Gardner behind the injury prone Keegan Michael Key in CF. If the players like him (and they seem to), I don't know how you're going to improve there if you're maintaining the same job description.

(Basically, firing Boone would be Cashman shadow firing himself since he constructed the roster and scripted how to use it.)

If we're talking sponsorship, it should just be the armpit. Most of them stink anyway. And I'm sure you can get many antiperspirants to fork some money over for that.
