See, we didn’t do anything remotely like that. FFS, I grew up on stories of occupation and the Holocaust. My grandfather was Jewish, and while he had emigrated here in 1921, his brother was excluded under the racist Immigration Act of 1924, and he and his wife and kids were sent from Budapest to Auschwitz in 1944. The brother (my great-uncle) survived, presumably because he was useful for slave labor. But the others didn’t.

Just because someone who’s young and stupid does something insensitive doesn’t mean they’re a Nazi sympathizer.

Maybe not, but it also doesn't mean that someone actually supports the Nazi party or approves of what the Nazis did, or even bears ill-will to members of any particular racial or religious group.
