Interesting note from the article, turns out Dykstra led the 1986 Mets to the championship. He may have led the charge towards the hookers and blow dealers, but with the '86 team, even that is doubtful.

Only thing he led on that team was running around, telling people his high-school nickname. (Props, though. It stuck.)
ETA: oh, his future will involve more prison time, betcha by golly wow. Probably including crimes he has yet to commit.
This reminds me of the the local sports radio station guy hanging out with him. So Lenny was on the station promoting something and one of the hosts said he was going to be in California and they should hang out.....and so he got to California and they did.
Grbac wasn’t actually there in the morning when Dykstra found his dentures (he had to go home to be with his kids). But he told us “I can tell you he didn’t have his teeth when I picked him up, and now he has them.” And the tweet he sent from his Sprinkles the Clown handle, asking if anyone else wanted to help Dykstra, was seen (and puzzled over) 'round the world.
