So, no that we know what we're up against...

The latest expansion to the game is called Ideology. Upon starting a new game, you can now create a detailed ideology that covers numerous aspects of how your faction is governed, their moral stances on various issues, etc. Like many things about the game it goes into an extreme level of detail.

Here's the interface, to give you an example:

As you can imagine, this can have drastic effects on gameplay depending on the choices you make. Every other faction you encounter also has its own custom ideology with the same level of detail, making interactions much more compelling.

Like with other things, I'll use crowd-sourcing to help build out our ideology here over the next few days.

Just wait till you build the autobong and use it in "choke" points for enemies. They get high and don't shoot or move as quickly.

Sorry for letting this trail off after the teaser last week. I'm still planning to do it, but need to get a few things ready and crowd-sourced.

First off is setting our Ideology. There are so many things you can do that it would take too long to walk through every step together, but I'll take suggestions on some general things you'd like too see. Here's an example:

In particular, if we want to define a few things:

- Rituals and Festivals (Festivus, maybe?)
- Relics that we can go on missions to find and recover
- Venerated Animals that make people happy but are taboo to kill/eat
- Leader and Moral Guide titles
- I'm also able to edit the other factions in the world somewhat, so any ideas for those

Once we're set with these, I'll get back with the usual poles for the biome, pet, etc.

I was playing Far Cry on my PS4 a couple years ago (I forget which version of the game) when I got attacked by a cassowary. I hesitated to shoot it because it looked harmless. I died from that mistake.
