To my ear the NFL-N has cheaped out and is using some fakeass not-Beatles but Beatles-evoking music for some of their commercial breaks.

And the Jets are bad, too.

Jags-Dolphins in London next week. In a just world the NFL would be tried for crimes against humanity for doing England like that.

Well, I was kidding after the fumble return just after the game started but I guess that was a nice response.

And they missed the extra point.

Urb shown holding the red flag for about 30 seconds…people are going to photoshop all kinds of ladies’ undergarments onto that one.

Please let this end in a tie.

Please.

(I think it would be a scorigami that way too, right?)

Edit

Yup!

The Eagles just sent Miles Sanders to the bench because he ran out of bounds TWICE inside two minutes trying to lock down a lead.

Hahaha.

Browns will lose for a lack of killer instinct. Defense has not stopped you all day.

Gonna wait for GPJ to jump in here and explain how this isn't really that interesting or impressive.

Wouldn't want to offend the overly specific stat lovers around here. I bet this has happened hundreds of times before, or maybe like 5 times but either way no one will forget the day they witnessed this history.

I try not to complain about announcers, especially when I have no horse in the race, but apparently the Chiefs can do no wrong right now. The late hit on Mahomes on 4th down, it looked like Oliver was pushed into him by the OL. The PI that was just called, Kelce slowed down and just fell while holding onto the d-back. Yet according to Al and Cris, these were "obvious" penalties, no nuance needed.

HOW ABOUT THOSE BILLS?!

So hard to not yell and scream during the second half - whole family was asleep.

Keep Allen healthy and this team could be unstoppable.

Didn't expect Allen to play great against KC. That he did seems like a pretty good sign for the Williams.

Chiefs seem back to the way they used to be - awesome offense, brutal defense.

I can't really blame him - that was the second inconceivable loss in 3 weeks.

(Well, maybe "inconceivable" is a bit strong considering the way their defense played when it mattered)

Lions are the first team in NFL history to be defeated twice in a season by FGs of more than 50 yards in the last five seconds. It took only five games to do it.

I’m rooting for him. From nothing but highlights he seems to make smart decisions. Hope he finds the balance between intense and insane.

Read this morning that he’s the third Lions coach since 2000 to start off 0-5 in his first five games.

Campbell might end up being a shitty head coach but it isn't gonna be because he doesn't care and after decades of losers like Patricia, Jim Schwartz, Steve Mariucci, et al, I'll take it. I'll also take the higher draft pick next season.
