The Leafs looked overwhelming last night, from the parts of the game I watched.

I guess degen is still too worked up after eavesdropping on the olds at Costco to laugh at the Oilers?

From what I've read it sounds like thanks to some changes in the broadcast agreements us Xfinity/Comcast customers in the MSG/NYR viewing market will get to watch the game on ESPN (no local blackout).

Bolts looked lifeless. Point is injured. New TV deals means 1st round games are all available on both RSN and national TV. RSNs are done after round 1.

This is probably the penultimate postseason for this era of the Caps. Hoping the veteran leadership gets the squad fired up... They're gonna need it.

Only real hope is that Bob plays like doodoo and one of the two Caps goalies has an out of body experience and goes on a tear.

Flying home from vacation tomorrow. First round of playoffs is always great fun. The contenders have been separated from the pretenders. The wheat from the chaff. The over-achievers from the bed-shitters (Vegas). Gotta love the NHL playoffs!

In the 2nd and 3rd period the caps got all 5 players back into the Neutral zone and just made it super hard for the Panthers to get entry into the zone. The defensive approach just looked different from what I saw from them in period 1 and pretty much all season.

Safe bet he won't miss any time given Spurgeon only losing a bit over 3 minutes of pay for intentionally attempting to inflict a serious injury in their G1.
