I spent the last 21 hours trying to find the name of an actor that a local dad reminded me of. I just got it but let’s see if you guys could have helped:

- white guy
- awkward comedy, kind of plays/played an inattentive or aloof guy maybe?
- short dark hair, I think usually clean shaven
- probably short
- no lead roles to my knowledge
- seems Canadian?

This happened to me about 5 years ago. Except it turned out that it actually was the guy I thought it was. This actor's daughter was in a Girls on the Run group that my kid was also in and all I could think is that guy looks really familiar, like he had a short-lived show that was on after another show I watched and just never changed the channel. He ended up in four of those short-lived shows: Committed, Four Kings, Big Day and Better With You. I'll even give you a pic. Can anyone name this guy?
