I’m feeling a bit sentimental and nostalgic tonight so I just want all of y’all to know I really love y’all and this place so much. I hope everyone has a great season of celebrating whatever it is you celebrate!

Me too. Wicked sentimental. Crazy nostalgic. Had a nice night with the girls but all the changes I've had in my life really seem to manifest themselves around Christmas.

It was too wet for doing luminaries last night, but did the Christmas (Red & Green Sauce) chicken enchiladas last night, which turned out great. Making a beef tenderloin tonight for dinner.

My GF and I have now been together too long...we got each other the same cookbook for Christmas (the J. Kenjie Alt-Lopez "Wok" book). Pretty funny.

My daughters got us a 2 person inflatable kayak...totally surprised. Can't wait to try it out.

Simple answer is that the American version of Christianity has become more about political identity than furthering the teachings of Jesus.
