Good lord its expensive to want to watch the local team. I could subscribe to Fubo, but that's another $70 (!!!) a month.

Looks like its listening on the radio for me.

That's crazy. Is that because you don't have cable or some equivalent?
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

Hold on hold on hold on...allowing a baserunner with 3 K's is not striking out the side.

you can watch 162 mariners games for what it would cost to go to one

No cable. I do the YouTubeTV subscription, but they don't have RootSportsNW. That's available on Fubo, or DirectTV.

Hasn't been an issue the last 20 years, but now the M's are actually good-ish again, it would be nice to watch a game occasionally.

Kinda wish he were working a little less hard? 71 through 4 in March isn't ideal.

Logan Webb has 11 Ks through 5. That's not bad. Short porch special to Torres the real pain there in the 3-0 Yankee lead (aside from what Cole is doing).

Hah...most likely.

One of the parts of my daughter's story that I mentioned in the "Proud Parents" thread was about how I'd take them to M's games, buying the cheapest centerfield bleacher tickets, and then we'd started moving into better seats in the 3rd inning of so. I remember it always used to stress her out, and she'd say "We're going to get in trouble!" and I'd tell her "We won't, unless you stop acting cool about it".

That's quality parenting right there!

A little slower than ideal, but Adam Wainwright did a perfectly passable version of the National Anthem to start the season in St. Louis.

I’m watching the Jays v Cards on MLB.TV, and the intro to the bot 6 had a camera on one of the sausage vendors working the grill.

God damn I haven’t been to a game in 4 freakin years. I gotta fix that soon. OPCY has $$ sausages too.

Maybe it gets added later but ESPN doesn't have time of game on their box scores, which seems like a very bad idea

I saw it for Yankees game ten minutes or so after it ended. On the far right towards the bottom. It was 2:33

Tigers lost to the Rays in a very efficient 2:14. I feel like they're headed to less suffering than in previous shitty seasons.

My only complaint with it was where the Bally Sports broadcasts had it on screen. They had it in the "bases" graphic, so it was a little smaller than I would have preferred. I feel like it could go above the full bar next to the pitcher and batter boxes.

There were 14, so one per game.
Stroman committed baseball’s first regular-season pitch-clock violation Thursday in the third inning of the Cubs’ 4-0 victory over Milwaukee on opening day. It was the first of 14 violations in 15 games on a day the average game time was 2 hours, 45 minutes.

Five violations were by batters, eight by pitchers and one by a catcher as all MLB teams opened on the same day for the first time since 1968.

The "every team plays" was also a no-duh thing that worked. Everything's coming up baseball since they got off their ass and expanded the netting.
