And, Forest is no sure thing not to get relegated.

ETA: just saw that it is just a loan for this season so I guess that doesn’t matter.

13 games this year? What is going on... Just not selected? Health?

Not health. Not good. Who knows?

ETA - by "not good" I'm saying the situation. I rate him quite highly.

Nah, it was injury. He's missed 8 of 19 league matches; weeks 1-6 and then 10 and 13 which had some CL and some other cup. Bigger issue is he hasn't played 90 at all and hasn't started since the day after Halloween.

I know nothing of Dortmund's coach or style or anything, but if you look at the stats, Nico Schlotterbeck is the only one with double digit starts under age 25. I'm sure Sancho's arrival doesn't help either.

(Which is kinda counter to my mental picture of Dortmund (and Ajax) as feeder clubs who play tons of kids.)

Maybe not.

Reyna remains outside of Edin Terzic's starting XI, having previously been benched for the loss to Bayern Munich. Prior to that, the USMNT star had gotten a run of games, but it's becoming more and more obvious that he isn't among Terzic's preferred options in the attack.

Reyna hasn't been a consistent starter for several years, with injuries limiting his opportunities to prove himself. He's fit now, though, and still not getting the game time he needs, which will be a concern for the USMNT.

Yeah, this isn't all down to injury at this point. At least not from the folks I follow who follow this stuff pretty closely.

Liverpool plays a meh first half, but gets a slop goal to tie it right at the end of the half.

Question: Would Gabriel have been called for a hand ball if it hadn't have gone in?

Probably. Clearly unintentional, but hand was away from his body.

Good god...Arsenal are completely thumping West Ham...4-0 at the half (with shots of West Ham fans streaming out for the train station) and now 6-0.

And a pretty awesome fantasy day for anybody starting three Arsenal players.

This owner of Saliba, Gabriel, and Saka slowly nods in agreement.

That was a fun morning. I started late and heard the halftime score. Very confused at the 32nd minute when it was still 0-0.

Yup. My son loves that. He's gonna be really good though. Hell, he's already quite good at 20, but he'll still lose his spot when Reece James comes back.

Then he'll get the spot back again within a week or so.

Unfortunately, last year was their best chance. I still think City will pull it off. MiB nailed their Arsenal motto on their coffee mug:

I'm not sure. I know all teams are one bad injury away from disaster but City really wasn't for a while. You could make a second top 5 attack off the bench before whereas now the depth up front is really just Doku or Grealish. Not that it really matters, last year was worth it, but I would bet elsewhere in the PL and CL.

Speaking of false hope, I first checked the Liverpool score in the 55th minute, 1-0 Luton. Forgot about it until now... 4-1 Liverpool, first goal came in the 56th.

Big Virg with the header off a corner, and then the flood gates opened up.

Everton is far too good a team to be relegated. But Luton is now doomed unless Forest gets a deduction.

Don't know if I agree with that, Luton have a game in hand, win it and there is only a point in it between them and Florist, with similar GD.

All to play for.
