That's a shame. He's so great as Dr. Oatman in Grosse Pointe Blank.

That photo in the People article of him from years ago with hair and stache is pretty amazing.

Aw shit. That guy made everything he was in better. Just a very short list off the top of my head Glengarry, Little Miss Sunshine, Argo.

Roger Ebert once said about a certain actor (I forget who) that he was one of those people who you see in a movie and you smile. Arkin was definitely one of those guys. RIP.

That is one of my favorite characters and NO ONE at my office gets it when I yell at them and then ask how I did at the yelling. "Was it too much?"

I got to the point where I assigned the movie as homework but no one on my team took it seriously.

None of you kids mentioned Catch 22 or the Heart is a lonely Hunter. Arkin was the star in both of them.

But the real star of Catch 22 was Paula Prentiss’s naked body.

That reminds me, I need to see Catch 22

Bad case of Stormtrooper Shot on those snipers. I think it was Maron who was recently talking about The In-laws, that it’s one of the best underrated comedies of alltime. I need to check it out
