With Kelce on a bye I needed a TE and got Ferguson.

So since I'm severely lacking in QBs, do I unload Kelce for one? The guy in my league who's interested has Tua and Burrow? Is Kelce for one of them straight up a fair move? Or does one side have to throw in a bit more?

I'm 4-5 right now.

Is it a keeper league? I look at it from the standpoint "if I unload this guy how many points am I losing by using the best available replacement". Usually, it is easier to find a QB than a TE and Kelce (I'm guessing) is the highest scoring TE out there so I would be wary. That being said, if you could get Burrow I would consider it...Kelce's not getting younger and has had some bad games so he might not finish as strong as in the past. I would stay away from Tua...he's due to get hurt any day now.

Caveat: I haven't won a game in the Swamp league so what do I know?
I would like expensive whiskey.

Unless its a 2 QB league, trading Kelce for any QB seems like a bad idea.

That is correct.

Plus both Burrow and Tua have terrible schedules during the fantasy playoff weeks. At least Tua won't be playing in blizzards.

I have Tua and Josh Allen and I've been trying to unload Tua for significantly less than that return all year with no takers. I couldn't even trade him straight-up for Jakobi Meyers.

Yeah, our league almost exploded because someone traded Stafford plus Pittman (to a guy who needed a fill-in QB) for CeeDee Lamb.

For context:

Not a keeper league. My current QBs are Minshew, Levis, and Lawrence. (Had Cousins and Richardson, so...yea.)

Ultimately, I'm not winning this league because my team isn't putting up 120+ points every week like other teams and I always seem to sit a player that does great or I have a star player that performs like shit when he starts.

So I'm trying to do something to fix this, but I got nothing.

Will Levis (and Lawrence for that matter) might outscore Tua from here until end of season just based on schedule.

It's always fun when you have a 68-yard td pass from your QB to your WR overturned by penalty.

Starting Howell (vs. Giants) over Purdy (vs. Bucs) this week. I’m doing it right, right?

Howell is fifth in the league in passing yards per game while being middle of the pack in TD and INT rate. As long as you don't lose points for him eating sacks (and NYG is 31st in the league in sacks/game), I think you're fine.

For whatever reason I have Purdy as the better play this week but I don't trust the numbers on this WSH-NYG game. They don't seem right.

I dropped Lawrence this week because he got me 2.1 points last week. He hasn't gotten above 18 points in a game all season. Today he has over 24 points and I'm starting Geno Smith.

I hate fantasy football.

Thanks to Kyren Williams being amazing I'm still mathematically in my league despite being 6-6.

So for my flex position do I start Rhamondre Stevenson, Jayden Reed, or Rashee Rice?

(I have Ekeler (bleh) and Williams at RB and DeVonta and Pittman Jr at WR right now. Olave and Walker III are both looking like they'll be out come game day.)

I beat the best team in my league by 11 this week. I'm inexplicably 5 points out of the 4th place spot. If only I started Olave or Ferguson...

But Lawrence got injured so now I have to spot start whatever I can get from the waiver wire scrap heap.

Geno Smith, Gardner Minshew, or Jake Browning. I may just put in claims for all 3 and see what happens.

I'm in a similar situation. Started 0-3 and 1-4, and I'm 7-6 and can win my division on tiebreak if I win this week and other guy loses. Somehow I have the most points for, 3rd fewest points against, yet I'm 7-6. Lost a bunch of close games and had some 60 point wins. It's all about getting into the playoffs, and anything can happen.

From 0-5 to 7-6 in one of my leagues as well. That team has most points scored AND most points scored against it. That 0-5 start was one of the unluckiest stretches I have ever encountered in my fake football playing decades.

4th in points, everyone higher is clinched, but I'm in a win-and-in / lose-and-need-like-four-diff-things-to-go-right situation, naturally matched up against one of the three teams better than mine. Fantasy is stupid.

I went into the Thursday games with a 22% chance to win. I started Bryce Young and Samje Perine and Zay Jones and still scored 122 points. I played the 2nd place guy who didn't have a guy over 10 (he had the Herbert/Allen stack which was nice).

Exactly, there is always a guy who starts 5-1, loses three, wins two, then loses two to leave the door open. Looking forward to officially finishing in fifth place as part of a four-way tie for second in the division.

I'm also very happy Syb chooses to focus his fantasy efforts on his other league.

As we near the playoffs, I’ve got the 2nd seed in my money league, and the top seed in the Swamp league. But, now injury problems are surfacing and I’ll probably lose in the first round of each playoffs. Sigh.

My thought process going into this week:

"Hrmm, Ok, Kyren is an auto-start, but who else am I starting? ... Fucking Ekeler again? ... Jesus. Ok, my bench has Cook against KC or Walker III coming back from injury against San Fran. ... Neither of those are appetizing. ... Wait, I just got a push-note that Ekeler might have his role decreased because he's sucking shit. ... Whose available on the wire? Zeke? That makes sense since Rhamondre ain't playing, but he's played like shit all year and that offense is anemic. ... Christ, Ekeler it is again. Fuck that guy. And fuck fantasy football."

Zeke then proceeds to get 27 points last night.

You guys didn't just pencil Zeke Elliott in for 5 catches minimum?

Still a bit risky tho to pick him up and start him over Cook, because he does in fact suck.

My gauge was somewhere in the 12-15 point range which may have just been an upgrade regardless no matter who of the other 3 I started, honestly. We'll know at the end of the weekend.

I just have to wait until Sunday to get a better idea of who is the healthiest option.
