I'll take posts from November 2022, Alex.

I agree, but weird this is happening again. No one thought he'd be a Ram and then comes out ending the season strong. And yes, I do have a lot of Akers shares and did not win on Williams.

Cam Akers was my 5th(?) round pick last year and fucked me. Mattison was my 4th this year and now Akers is going to fuck him. Fuck Cam Akers.

Yep. In addition to all my Akers angst above, I dropped him this morning and have Mattison in both my leagues. OTOH, pushing me to bench Mattison might be the best thing for me. I want to bench him, but everything I'm reading is saying to stick it out one more week. I hate my teams, so many equal options for the RB/Flex positions. I love having clear cut starters and not having to think about it and torture myself when I make all the wrong picks.

SMDH. Twice now, in the Swamp league I’ve cut the guy who immediately after the next game became the most in-demand free agent.

Glad I didn't do that! But my dumbass didn't start him today either. Figured Cousins would come through.

(Also fun starting Olave and starting Pittman Jr. in my flex spot with James Cook on the bench.)

This week sucks.

In my 12 team money league, a guy just offered my Jerry Jeudy and Christian Watson for Kenneth Walker III.

I have 4 receivers who are better than either of those guys. I countered by asking for Tyreek Hill

Ha! I just got an offer of Christian Watson and Jerome Ford for Travis Kelce.

Not only would that leave me without a TE, I'd have to cut someone from my roster to make it work and cut another person to get a TE off waivers. I already have Walker III, Kyren, Ekeler, and James Cook....so I don't need Ford. I need a passable TE and knockout WR. Unless a 3 teamer can happen he's SoL.

Current offer is Nico Collins and Jerome Ford for Walker III.

That's so funny. The guy that wants Kelce from me also has Nico Collins. But he did not directly offer him yet.

Man, I was seconds away from making an awful decision to start Dobbs over Fields. Nice start in all my leagues with Logan Thomas outscoring my TE position all year in one (fuck you Pitts!), Fields/Kmet in another, and DJ Moore scoring me 29 in a league where the projected weekly team points are projected around 50 is very very nice.

And Sam Howell gave you some decent garbage time numbers vs. me with your options of Watson (bye) and Lawrence (vs. tough Defense) not ideal.

I don’t know what’s worse: me completely missing that Miles Sanders was dinged up and not likely to play and started him, or the fact that considering my crappy backups for him, it wouldn’t make much of a difference anyway.

My opponent was well aware of Sanders's injury and spot started Chuba.

But I'm also well aware that Chris Olave has been a ghost these last few weeks and spot started Curtis Samuel.

So it's kinda a wash.

Ya know, I would've picked up Minshew and spot started him today (Anthony Richardson was my backup and Cousins sucks without JJ), but the Browns have been an awesome defense all season. (Even sat Pittman Jr too because of the worry.) So I picked up Howell and started Drake London instead. I just...hate games of chance.

In my league he was worth 27.1 points. Howell was worth 9.46.

In fact, there were 9 other QBs on the waive wire did better than Howell.

Oh well.

If you feel the need to shovel dirt on my grave... I saw Johnson was out and was going to pick up Foreman in my other league, but shoddy internet connection on the road made me give up. Projected to lose by 5, would have been a 25 point swing for me. Oh well. I hate fantasy so much. I am playing Mahomes and Kelce in the other league. I was up by a lot, and watching his 3 players in the Cardinals/Seahawks game do nothing, while recording and waiting to watch the Chiefs game. I was thinking I'd be up by a ton, but Mahomes and Kelce had 26 each by halftime. At some point I'd expect the Chargers to start covering him.

I agree with Bengal here. Especially since Washington just traded their top two pass rushers, that would make it easier on opposing passers likely leading to more scores, making Washington more likely to throw to get back.

Yup. He was my top choice.

And the guy with the #1 waiver priority got him.

Ya know, Russell Wilson is on a bye week and all.

So I got Levis because Dobbs won't be starting Sunday.

Fun fun fun.

Edit

Ha. Derek Carr was available. Some other team just grabbed him. But fuck it. Let's roll with Levis and see what happens. I'm not winning this league anyway.
