My favourite Indian golfer Shiv Kapur is at -5 after 6 holes.

Although his brother Yom has a much better short game.

His caddie looks like an accountant.

This Tiger Woods guy is pretty good. Currently has a one stroke lead over Stenson, Westwood and the Most Interesting Man in Golf.

What an Eagle by Westwood, leads by 1 now. This is going to be wild all day.

The pool where I work finally installed wifi this season.

While I'm sure the piss-to-water ratio is much higher than in previous years due to parents ignoring their children while they catch up on game of thrones on their iPads, at least I get to watch the open at work.

I thought Tirico was going to cry when Tiger made bogey on 17

Despite now being three strokes down through two, I still think Tiger picks up the Claret Jug today. Westwood is going to have a big blow up somewhere.

Would be nice but Tiger never chases well. Gets too frustrated cause he wants to catch the guy by the turn and puts himself out of it

I remember some dumb tournaments he lost the leader blew up but Tiger didn't stick around to profit from it

There's the Westwood blowup.

Scott charging now.

Too bad The Tiger Woods Show keeps interrupting what is a hell of a round.

I like Bizarro World Lee Westwood, who misses fairways and makes putts (shit, just jinxed him at 10).

Adam Scott is fucking killing it. Phil forcing himself into the convo. This is awesome.

Mickelson just took the drama out of this one. No way anyone is catching him. It feels like he flew completely under the radar for almost the entire tournament. Probably because ESPN was so invested in the Tiger winning another major story line.

I've said it before. I like the guy. Bird on 18; 66 for Phil; -3 for the tourney, pretty in the clubhouse, not to be caught. Westwood three behind, four to play.

Lefty was flexing Mo Rivera muscles to close out that round. Stupendous!!

Wow 66.

This is the main difference between Phil and Tiger. Everyone knew that Westwood would meltdown. He always melts down. Phil did nothing special on the front 9, just two birdies on the two par 5.. he was patient and conservative. Westwood will come back.

Tiger was so aggressive on the front nine, he's trying to catch Westwood within 6 holes. Then he starts cursing and getting mad at himself and hits stupid shots taking him down to +2. Why? Be patient. It's an 18 hole round. Westwood will come back and once he does, then pounce. Phil did exactly that.

Which is exactly why he's winning Majors now. For years, FIGJAM would play insanely aggressive shots where he just didn't have to; trying to pretty much hole every shot from anywhere. And he learned how to putt. Remember about ten years ago when Jack Nicklaus said "I'd like to give him a putting lesson"?

So Mickleson wins both the Scottish Open and The Other Scottish Open. And nobody has ever done that before (in the same year), right? There was kind of a curse to that. Like a far-larger-scale version of how winning the Par-3 contest at Augusta damns you from winning The Masters.

Even though I like him, FIGJAM is my second-favorite sports nickname (Human Highlight Film is the first).

Yeah, that's quite a trip across the pond, isn't it?

Degen...Tiger actually struck the ball pretty well. He just putted like shit.

From what I saw, he wasn't cursing and swearing after missed putts.
Actually you are right. I just went and looked at the stats and he did hit 75% of fairways all week which is excellent.
Which makes his meltdown (+3 after 7 holes yesterday) even more unnecessary. I don't recall him 3-putting that much either.
He just couldn't make 10 footers for birdie or scramble for par and got mad.

I didn't see much of his first three rounds, but on Sunday at least it was his approach shots that were failing him. He was consistently leaving 70 or 80 foot putts for birdie and three-putted in that situation at least once, I think twice. What's worse is he seemed to constantly be having to make 15 or 20 foot par putts.
