SEASON-LONG REMINDERS

-Each week consists of 10 questions (5 sports, 5 not). The Swamper Bowl will have 20 questions.
-I'll post questions here and email them to the group
-No Googling, No Doubt
-Answer every week, even when your NFL team has a bye

SCORING

-Correct answers get a score equal to the number of people who said it
-Wrong answers get the value of the highest-scoring correct answer +5
-If you're the only player with a one-pointer, you are credited with a score of -1
-Low score wins
-Weekly ties will be broken by best score in Q10, Q9, etc.
-Standings, tiebreakers and playoff matchups all determined exactly as they would be in the real NFL

Yikes. This is hitting several of my blind spots.

Guesses submitted and then I went and checked. I definitely have 2 wrong answers, but I suspect I may have a -1.

On Q1, the date of reaching the second of the two poles should say 1926

First pass through - there are three that I have no answers for. I can make a somewhat educated guess on one of them, but I have no idea on the other two.

I object to the premise of the recipe question. There is no way someone published a recipe to make Olive Garden's fettucine alfredo.

Just a note on the Unplugged question that "featured act" means the main artist or band. I know we've had questions in the past about songs that "feature" guest artists so that's a little confusing.

This one's mostly up my alley as long as I don't lose too many points on the movie question. And hopefully the ones I'm considering most popular answers will be Jordans.

Now watch me lose by 40.

I have plausible answers for all three now. It's sad how long it takes the old brain to dig through the basement archives sometimes.

I had one complete guess, and another where I'm pretty sure? The others I'm 99 percent they are right, but I'm probably going to be pulling in pretty high numbers for the bulk of them.

I checked one I was confident but wanted to confirm. I was wrong. Checked one more, hoping for a friendly ruling from the judge.
