So if you're trying to make this IST a thing, WTF would you start the games at 5 eastern?

6 and 9 Eastern might be ideal but they presumably want the entire country to be able to watch both games.

It’s TNT, so 9PM means 9:45ish. Which makes it stranger to start at 5.

But hey, the IST is already a thing. It’s making a legit star out of Halliburton.

Hard disagree...I tried, but that court was eye-bleedingly garish.

Well yeah but full go super diesel LeBron is something to behold in December. But 2/13 threes won't win 4/7 against good offensive teams

Yeah like the rest of the world have seen much of Indiana but I saw some last night. Wasn't good. Maybe the Lakers can defend? Really meant three point heavy teams but maybe Indiana can shoot it and just didn't show. Haliburton for the pub has an ugly jumper. Do I get to pick one too?

https://www.nba.com/stats/teams/scoring ... CT_AST_3PM

Of course I don't understand any metrics beyond the basics in any sport. Also getting increasing amounts of empty time for sportsfrog rabbit holes. Interesting thing with the 3pt scoring stats is the disparity between unassisted 3 and assisted 3. The teams I associate with heavy 3 seem to do it unassisted. There was an article about this when the Celtics went out. It's not ball movement threes for this team. Pacers, Celtics, warriors. Iso 3. Not true basketball

the Lakers are a very good defensive team. they have been every season (with the exception of 21-22) since LeBron got there.

Just kick Draymond out of the league already. Even funnier it's on a night where Jokic was ejected for something Draymond wouldn't even get a technical for.

I mean, he's got to be looking at a long suspension right?

Draymond being a cheap-shot artist is infuriating enough. His attitude that it's a travesty of justice on the level of the Central Park Five whenever he gets whistled is just the icing on the cake.

Edited: needed a better, more on-point reference.

I've had no reason to follow them so I don't know. Why are the Pistons so horrid? Are they tanking? They don't seem like they're devoid of talent.

Very young roster (14 of 17 players who have played for them are 25 or under, eight between 20 and 22) that has been poor on defense (see: young) while also being terrible at shooting the ball. Bojan Bogdanovich has missed most of the season, which takes away their second-best player and top perimeter shooter (who will likely be traded out for picks at the deadline after he returns to health).

I've also heard on a couple podcasts that they trend toward playing multiple players who have difficulty shooting from outside, which only makes them worse.

Knicks fans seem mad but Barrett was such an active negative. Hopefully Quickley blows up in Toronto, he’s fun and seems nice.

Was watching that live…down 18 with just over six minutes left; 25-4 run to close out the game. Nuggets had been a little listless the past few weeks…they needed the jump. Orlando at at home tonight…hopefully they won’t come out flat.

Its been 100 seconds and already the full Embiid experience. Unstoppable (and unhobbled) with the ball in his hand but that ankle sure is bothering him after turnovers.

The Celtics lost last night by 33 in Milwaukee. It was the second night of a back-to-back, on the road, so it's a little explainable in terms of that. For curiosity's sake, I wanted to see how the best NBA team ever, the 1996 Bulls, did on the second nights of B2Bs.

21-2 on night twos. Including 10-1 on the road.
