I think Sean Payton's animosity towards the league office is being undervalued here

Do you think they'll trade Henry before the deadline as well?

Who would want him and where could he get the chance of a ring? The Titans are in an odd spot in that Caleb Williams seems to be the next big thing at QB, but if the Titans suck enough to have a shot at drafting him, then they also have to give up on Malik Willis and and Mayocoffee.

Yeah how could a team give up on 2nd and 3rd round QBs if a perceived next-big-thing QB becomes available to them

Maybe the Bills would want him? I don't know how he would mesh with what they like to do but it would be interesting.

Ha, I get how silly that reads... If the Titans want to stink it up and grab draft capital then fine. I just think the Titans have multiple issues(OLT, CB, FS, ORG, RB - post Henry, and WR) and hope that they can build around one of the QBs they have instead of chasing a next new toy on the lot.

The Titans will trade Henry if they get the right offer and that may be as low as a 3rd rounder.

I know it's not a great sample size due to his snap count, but Joey Porter Jr not giving up a catch in 6 games gets me rock hard.

He looks one hell of a player. As an Oilers/Titans fan, I would love to have a shut down corner. Samari Rolle was the closest we have got in the last 40 years.

If you get a chance to draft a legit top 3 pick type of QB you have to take it. The Lions could have Tua or Herbert running the show in Detroit but instead they decided to build up the corner position and wait, even though things change very fast in the NFL.

Other teams trying it and being unsuccessful at it gives less credence that this play is a patently unfair cheat code.

I came to this conclusion this weekend, watching yet another team fail to pick up a first down. I hate the play, but since other teams can't succeed with it, it's hard to say it should be illegal. Not sure if it is the OL, but I have heard a couple dozen times that Hurts squats 650 pounds, so maybe it's just his power.

Isn't the whole thing about banning it based on injury risk*, not whether one team is awesome at it or not? Can you imagine the NFL changing the rules because someone complains about one team!?!?
