SEASON-LONG REMINDERS

-Each week consists of 10 questions (5 sports, 5 not). The Swamper Bowl will have 20 questions.
-I'll post questions here and email them to the group. Make sure you DO NOT REPLY ALL if answering by email
-No Googling, No Doubt
-Answer every week, even when your NFL team has a bye

SCORING

-Correct answers get a score equal to the number of people who said it
-Wrong answers get the value of the highest-scoring correct answer +5
-If you're the only player with a one-pointer, you are credited with a score of -1
-Low score wins
-Weekly ties will be broken by best score in Q10, Q9, etc.
-Standings, tiebreakers and playoff matchups all determined exactly as they would be in the real NFL

BTW, am I allowed to ask what "Best Country Solo Performance" means? Is it a live performance on a show or concert? Or is it just a performance on a recorded song or album?

It's for an album track (or single or however a song is released now).

Whoops. Hockey players are definitely busy year-round but that was an error.

I've never seen them, but I do know it is a franchise of animated movies.

ETA: Since I've already submitted my answers, I looked this up. As noted above, I thought for sure it was a cartoon movie series, not a japanese video game series. Things you learn in the Swamp.

I had a friend who was obsessed with the series. If it wasn't for him, not sure I'd know. Spent way too many hours playing these games on the original NES. Frustrating as hell because each board was long with very little action, and it was easy to make a slight slip up and have to start all over. It would take forever to beat a relatively easy level, because you'd have to restart. And since it felt easy, you kept restarting.

Just curious with the Olympics questions, but are these names people know, or did Ryan just choose obscure people so it's basically "name a sport in the Olympics?" Actually, don't answer that, it gives a hint on whether it's mainstream or niche sports. Remember the days when the entire country knew all the US Olympic medal winners?

I remember way back in the late 80s when I was working on a game show and it really wasn't hard to come up with every Canadian gold medal winner.
