Fucking Peacock. I got home at 10:30, planned on watching the game from the beginning, but no, they only let you watch it live. Fucking horrible. They let you do that for EPL. And they don’t show you key plays.

How did they overturn Shakir’s TD. His knee was up before he was touched, so how do they overturn the call? Bullshit. I need those points for Allen, plus the 2 point try.

His knee wasn’t up before he was touched, but that’s a perfect example of how screwed up the rules are, cuz if the defender simply trucks him into next week, he would’ve faced a suspension.

Legit looked like he gave up on the play because he hesitates to get up because he thought he be touched immediately. So...I wasn't that mad at the overturn.

Wonderful little 2nd and 40 going into the half for the Jets there because Trevor Siemian just kept running backward and couldn't get the ball back to the line of scrimmage when throwing it out of bounds.

Situations like the Cowboys found themselves in I almost think your best play is to send all out blitzes on the first couple of plays. If you get torched for a TD then whatever, max time back. If you get a sack or other play for a loss, or a turnover, then even better. But to just play defense as normal when they have three and a half minutes and based off their kicker already showing you 60 yards is in range, they only need 32 yards.

Raiders did not complete a pass in the last 3 quarters and won fairly easily. They would be in the mix if they hadn't lost that stupid 3-0 game

My wife's best friend is from money, but she tries very hard not to be a MAGA weirdo. Like, she really tries.

But she started in on this same nonsense the other night and she called called out by some of the kids (it was this new blend where the parents and kids can all legally drink). It was hilarious. I love her, but she has these moments where her upbringing and her rich conservative friend groups sneak in.

Of course, prior to 1978, the NFL only played 14 regular season games per year.
