So Watson is making a guaranteed 46 million a year for 5 years? He's gotta be making like 8 million a start! Then Joe Flacco off of his couch. It's madness!

Butchie from Hamden is loudly advocating on local sports radio that clearly the Ravens made a mistake signing Lamar in the offseason when Joe was available to come back. I AM NOT JOKING.

Browns are gonna be the 5 seed - so if they win their playoff game against the AFC south winner (which they will probably be favored to do) and if the 2 and 3 seeds win then Flacco comes to Baltimore for divisional round of playoffs...and if Browns won that with Flacco at QB the talk radio around here would be especially horror-laden...

Last time the Lions and Browns were both in the playoffs was 1994.

Would have been Scott Mitchell for Detroit that year I think.

Do you mean Kelly Holcomb? That's way earlier. I think it was still Vinny Green Balls.

Yes. His Ronnie character is not a huge exaggeration from Butchie from Hamden (my character).

That’s great but it’s meaningless if the Ravens don’t acknowledge it during the ceremony. And even with all that still feels too soon.

Is this ceremony just for Johnson or is it for Jones too or have Jones and Johnson not interacted in almost 30 years because Buck keeps mentioning Jones.

The reason the rest of the country hates the Cowboys so much is because no other team would get this reverential treatment for a guy that hasn’t coached in three decades. Fuck the Cowboys.

WTF was with that 2 point conversion at the end of the game? Did the guy just forget to tell the ref he was eligible? Can’t believe they didn’t kick after the penalty, but I guess they already won the division.

I wonder how far back they could go before Campbell would have kicked the XP.

They're also playing for HFA and a bye though.

They weren't. They didn't want to play an overtime period.

feels like the simplest explanation is that the officials mistook Decker and Skipper somehow and that set off the chain of events

(not a defense, it just feels like the only way this makes sense without veering too off the rails)

Ravens starting safety Kyle Hamilton (knee), starting cornerback Brandon Stephens (ankle), and starting right guard Kevin Zeitler (knee/quad) are all inactive for the first time this season.
Not what you want to see facing Miami.

So what's Justin Fields going to fetch in a trade? The Bears can clinch the #1 pick today with a Carolina loss.
