US unbeaten in the pool play (1 OT win and the rest in regulation). Quarters start on Tuesday. Sweeden tops the other group (ahead of Canada). Super smart by BC and Michigan to not schedule games in December because they would have been going deep on their benches as the US team is basically those 2 schools.

My only real problem with YouTube TV is that they don’t have the NHL network.

My #1 complaint with YTTV as well.

Semifinals tomorrow
Sweeds v. Czech
Finland v. US

With no Russia and Canada out, will be a disappointment for the favored US to not bring home the gold and sing their locker room championship song (fun US National Team Tradition).

2-0 Finland about halfway through

I don't know how anyone uses these sketchy online streams for anything - if i'm fortunate enough to a) find a link to a game and b) get by the myriad awful popups - inevitably every stream will briefly hiccup every 30-45 seconds.

3-2 Us of A
Gauthier with a goal with just over 3 to play.
2 PP goals for the US.

Can Sweden finally get that elusive gold? They haven't won since Zibinejad scored the OT winner in 2012 in Calgary. They only have 2 golds total and 11 silvers

Yeah, the only "damn, I wish I had that channel" on YouTube TV is the NHL Network. And it's 99 percent because I can't watch the World Juniors.

I love that the IIHF uses promotion and relegation for their world championships/junior championships. Germany's golden goal sent Norway down.

This used to be best-of-3, they changed it this year.

Lane Hutson. Pretty pugnacious to go after a guy seven inches taller.
