Check out the Bears all-time QB leaderboards, they are absolutely hilarious
I knew it was bad, but wow!

Top 5 in yardage: Cutler (by a mile), Sid Luckman (who played in the '40s, Harbaugh(!), McMahon and Trubisky.
I wish to provide even more context for this.

Jeff Blake, yes, THAT Jeff Blake, would be 2nd all time in passing yards and 3rd all time in TDs for that franchise were he a Chicago Bear for his career.

ETA: That is the same even if you restrict Blake to just his Bengals stat years...

Broncos Peyton Manning would be 2nd in TDs

ETA: 2013 Peyton Manning would be 8th

It really helps bring out the parallels of the two franchises when you equate Luckman to Otto Graham. I mean, my personal rankings for the top three in their franchise history has been Luckman-McMahon-Cutler since the day they acquired Cutler.

On the other hand, Justin Fields is 10th in yards for the Bears but would be 8th for the Patriots. Maybe the lesson is that there have only been like 40-50 great quarterbacks in league history and so you're statstically lucky to have had more than 1 or 2 on a franchise.

Both Bears and Pats could have had Flutie for a decade+. Or was he not good enough for the type of football the NFL was back then?

Sid Luckman had been in the NFL for 11 years when the Browns and Graham joined the NFL. (Yes, they had previously competed in the All-America Football Conference, but those stats aren’t counted are they?)

I was just going for the "one Hall of Fame, a couple better than average to good, and just a list of mediocre on down".

agreed. before Patrick Mahomes, the top three career passing leaders for the Chiefs were Len Dawson, Trent Green and Alex Smith with Bill Kenney and Steve DeBerg rounding out the top five

Sid Luckman is #166 all time and Trubisky is #180. Your letting the bears off way to easy by saying only 1 or 2 franchise types. Your #2 all time should not be #166

Not sure where to put this, but Tyler Owens out of TT doesn't "believe in space and other planets" due to being "really religious."

One of the best Bears passing seasaons ever was a random year of Erik Kramer.

I feel bad about this, considering what he's gone through in his post-playing days, but I was living in Chicago when he was with the Bears, and I always thought Kramer looked like a young Frank Burns...

Until a couple months ago Erik Kramer was the only starting QB to win a playoff game for the Lions since Tobin Rote in 1957.

Jeez, I didn’t hear about the troubles (to say the least) Erik Kramer went though post-career, but reading that he’s somewhat on a better path now is hopeful.

I'm almost positive he was one of the very first QBs I had in the ancient fantasy league on ESPN during that year for the Bears. I think I also had Yancey Thigpen and I waxed everyone that year.

Maybe he's just being a decent person, but I always pegged Burrow as a liberal dude.

Bosa on the other hand, total douche who is wildly Republican. The memes aren't far off on him.

He’s from southeast Ohio. It’s practically West Virginia. I’d be surprised if he didn’t want undocumented people beheaded.

Having watched a couple of clips as someone who has no dog in this fight, Burrow looks like he has a pretty good fake smile. I mean, the smile goes away quickly when he's not being looked at and he literally turns his back on him at one point.

Also, how unfortunate to see Sage Steele making a public appearance.

Back to actual football news I feel like Mayfield may have left some money on the table. Of course considering these FA deals might impact Goff’s extension some I’m glad he did.

Burrow spoke out against Jan 6 a few years back - I would guess he's not a Trump fan, but who knows. Money talks perhaps.

They've been drafting in the 20s for two decades. It's why they are in this current purgatory of not good and not bad.

Steelers over 8.5 wins or whatever it's been is an easy bet every year for the last couple seasons, so I guess let's guarantee 9-8.

Can't wait for his first IG post where Mr. Limited reassures them that everything will be fine.

Hope he guarantees "a winning record". That would go over well.
